Best fan I’ve ever owned
This DREO model is the best fan I’ve ever owned. In the past, I’ve bought fans sold at WalMart, Target, etc. They’re all mostly the same—3 speeds, fairly noisy esp. at higher speeds (from both the fan itself and the metal ‘cage’), and no real ‘low’ speed.This DREO fan improves on every aspect of these cheaper fans, making a near-perfect pedestal fan. First, the DREO has nine speeds, from 1 (very low, but still very usable) to 9 (very high; this level moves some serious air). You can get a gentle breeze or a powerful wind or almost any degree inbetween.Second, this fan is extremely quiet. Unlike previous fans I’ve owned, the fan shroud (or ‘cage’) on the DREO is fully assembled along with the fan blades, so there’s no rattling from misaligned cage clips or imbalances in the blades or cage. At Level 1 (lowest fan speed), you might not hear it at all unless the room is particularly quiet. I’ve never seen any fan deliver so much air with so little noise. It’s not silent but it’s impressively quiet compared with every other fan I’ve owned.Third, it’s crazy how much air this fan can move. It looks small and I was concerned about its ability to move air without a lot of noise. I set the fan up and placed it exactly where I had my old fan (right at the end of my bed). The DREO performed so well, I was able to move it back against the opposite wall (about 10 ft. away from the end of the bed). It still works great, even on the lowest fan speed.Finally, a few odds and ends—the fan remote is very nice. It’s well laid out and easy to use. Assembly is very easy (mainly, you just have to attach the base to the fan/pole). The ‘quality’ of the air movement is something I’ve really noticed. I can’t quite describe it but at low speeds, it feels like a pleasant breeze and at higher speeds, there’s a lot of air moving but it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting in front of a fan. The DREO fan just ‘feels’ better than any fan I’ve owned previously.The only ‘con’ I can think of is price. It is an expensive fan but not crazy expensive and, having used it for a couple days now, I think it’s worth every penny. I’m really pleased with this fan.

Well designed, quiet.
Excellent product! I would say it is the best household item I have purchased in a long time. True, it is just a fan, but it is so much more than an old school oscillating pedestal fan. The DC motor makes it very quiet for the amount of air it moves. Its compact size and power are a game changer. Combine that with Wi-Fi connectivity, makes it extremely useful and convenient. We use it in conjunction with our mini split units throughout the home. We have been able to turn down the fan speed and turn up the temperature a few degrees warmer on cool settings when running the drill fan at the same time. It helps “stir” the air very effectively.My only complaint is on low speeds you can just barely hear the motor that actuates the vertical oscillation. It is barely noticeable, but in a quiet environment, you can hear it. I don’t think you would be able to when the fan is set at higher speeds. That seems to be the only, in my opinion, flaw, in design. Overall, it is an excellent product, enough so that I purchased two. Good job Dreo!

A Strong Breeze
Quiet and effect fan. But the wifi aspect is not necessary and could not get it to connect to wifi – but that could have been a location issue and not a fan problem (didn’t really want or care about the wifi application). The remote control needs a direct line of site to control the fan – which is not always convenient.
