Outer World fans gonna love it.
Having enjoyed Outer Worlds 1, I couldn’t wait for the sequel. I think it is even better than the first. The graphics are similar but the characters are new and different. There are plenty of challenges outside the main story. And, in true Outer Worlds tradition, the writing is hilarious. Also, you don’t need to play the first game in the series to get and enjoy Outer Worlds 2. I love a game with a good story, interesting characters, variety of play, a large open world, and some shooting on the side. This game clicks all the boxes.

You don’t need to play the first to love the second.
Dialog intensive. Sardonic humor. Reminds me of Ratchet and Clank in terms of graphics, battle, and dialog. Allows you to adjust difficulty on the fly. Recommended for 12 and up. Yeah, there’s some limbs and blood, but it’s cartoonized. Quests are easy to follow and delinieated quite well. You have some freedom, but can still stay on task

Fun game if you want a fallout feel, until 2060 when Fallout 5 comes out

Collectors beware!!
Collectors beware! If you haven’t heard, this is not a physical copy. Its a digital code disguised as a physical copy. There is no game data on the disc. This is a disgusting practice by greedy developers. They do not respect half of the gaming community who want to collect physical copies of games. They also failed to be clear about how this is not actually a physical copy. I have personally contacted obsidian asking why this wasn’t clearly displayed. Of course no response. I returned my copy because i wasn’t getting what I paid for. This may not seem like a big deal for people who don’t mind digital, but for those who are physical collectors, it is. At any point they want they take this game offline you will lose your hard earned money because they can do that. That’s part of the point of collecting physical because you never lose what you pay for. This game suffered from a huge amount of cancelled pre orders due to this baffling decision.

Needs more time to cook.
I was having fun until I ran into a bug 15 hrs in that prevented progression. (I did a lot of roaming before i did this quest) Hopefully Obsidian has fixes for the quest “The Brain Benders of Auntie’s Choice” where if you give repair parts to Hogarth (the town leader), you become unable to finish the quest. Apparently there is many more bugs that I haven’t been able to get to yet.It discourages exploration when I can break quests if i don’t do them in a particular way, or order.
