If the scanner cannot read your SD card, please format the SD card first.
Step 1: Insert the SD card into the slot, then switch on the scanner;
Step 2: Press the “Format” button next to the SD card slot, and the LCD displays “F”;
Step 3: Press the “Power/Scan” button, then the SD card shown on the LCD disply flahses till the format is finished.
Tips for use
-Before use, please use the Calibration Card included to adjust the white balance.
-Please note that the effective width is shorter the scanner’s body length.
-The higher the resolution and the more complexed the content to be scanned, the slower your sliding is required.
-Move the scanner slowly and as stably as possible to get better quality.
-If the “red” indicator gets on during your scanning, it means your sliding is too fast.
-If the “green” indicator gets off during scanning, please re-start your scanning.

It works and works perfectly. It’s very easy to use. I plugged into my PC, Windows 10, and it works. The clarity is great, like as if I put it on my printer/scanner.

This thing is so cool and easy to use. Make sure you have AA batteries as well as a micro sd card. It’s a little finicky to get the scanning speed down but once you get used to it it’s a breeze.

Be careful.
Initial set-up is easy. First scan good. Then I tried to calibrate the white level. Used wrong button sequence. Machine now in permanent error mode. This is my error. So I will not return the item.
