I plugged this to my computer then put my poe switch cameras and bridged the connection and it works fantastic. It can power the 4 cameras i have of 12 volts each and the box doesnt even get warm. The led blinking can alert if there is issues without having to hop into the nvr server, overall great and easy to setup box.

I have a pretty complex network (for a home) and purchased this for the connection between two of my POE cameras and the synology NAS with Surveillance Station. Within 24 hours after installing this device, the synology server started reporting international IP addresses trying to login into my synology server via SSH. You could see how they were auto trying different combinations of user and password combinations via an automated system, bombarding the server with logins.I had to contact my ISP and change my gateway IP address. I removed this and purchased a Netgear POE switch (I’ve used these for several years). Don’t know what I was thinking. There’s a serious cyberwar going down and I think this is the beginning of getting these malicious hack devices into US homes.Update 12/14: They increased the frequency of login attempts to the server. It’s now two times for every attempt. Will post pics of this evidence shortly.Update 12/19: After locking down and analying their work. They appear to be focusing on the my synology servers and the randomized hacking of root access to these servers. I just uploaded the picture for supporting evidence of the multitude of IP addresses they’re using so as to not be blocked by my servers. What you’re seeing in that list occurred in a matter of minutes. I removed my server name and ip address for security reasons.

Acquistato dopo aver reso un TP-Link TL-SG105-M2 Switch Ethernet 2.5 Gigabit per scarsa stabilità delle porte che negoziavano più volte ed in modalità random una velocità di 1Gb al posto di 2,5 Gb. Dopo ricerca tra i prodotti analoghi disponibili su Amazon mi imbatto in questo switch che pare fare al caso mio. Anche se un po’ perplesso di acquistare un marchio a me fino ad ora sconosciuto, dopo alcuni giorni d’uso posso dire che fa bene il suo dovere ad un prezzo decisamente accettabile. A seguito cambio contratto fibra FTTH da 1000-300 Mbps a 2500-1000 Mbps avevo bisogno di aggiungere alla mia rete interna uno scwitch che fosse adatto a tale velocità da installare in cascata ad un modem router FRITZ!Box 7690 dotato di porta WAN e porta LAN a 2.5Gb, così da poter servire computer ed altri apparati compatibili a quella velocità. Installazione rapida e senza nessuna configurazione, dopo averlo alimentato e connesso all’uscita LAN del modem-router ora ho 8 porte LAN che funzionano alla velocità di 2.5 Gb. Collegato allo switch il mio Mac Studio che è dotato di porta Ethernet a 10Gb può tranquillamente sfruttare tutta la banda che ho a disposizione. In sintesi, il funzionamento per ora è ineccepibile, le porte connesse alla velocità di 2,5 Gb. sono stabili anche sotto grande carico, ottimo acquisto.
