Great 10G switch, works perfectly.
Absolutely what I needed. Autosenses port speeds perfect for 10G, 5G, and 2.5G.

Switch works as advertised and increased transfers speeds in a multi computer network
Works perfect and with same speed NIC cards in the other computers make a big difference. It’s like the old 100mbs to the 1000gib network. The upgrade is worth it. My file transfers are running at 260mbs and sometimes a little faster now.

SWEET LITTLE GEM OF A SWITCH WHEN 10Ghz Ethernet is so expensive!
Wow, bang for the Bucks! With 5cheap 5Ghz Dongles to USB-C, I have doubled my Ethernet Network Speed on same 2 meter Cat 6 cables! Going for 6 Port 10Ghz and 10Ghz dongles was way expensive.I set dongle Transmit Buffers to 64 and Receive Buffs to Maximum and I have a SOLID 560 MegaBytes/Sec transfer rate (LSOv2 and Receive Ceol enabled by default). Perfect for my Video server M2 NVMe 4TB drive on a heat sink!2 Ports are open for the kids to plug in 2.5 or even old 1Ghz. But one of my ports is taken up by a 2.5 connection to the Gateway/Wifi 6/ISP.. With this unmanaged Switch, it’s PLUG AND PLAY!Did try Jumbo Frames 9014, 590 MB/S solid!Sweet little GEM!

Noisy but upgradeable to Noctua fans
10/10 functionality wise it all works with 10GbE no problems. Chiplet heatsinks get mildly hot to the touch, but seems sufficiently cooled out of the box. Note that the single 40mm fan it comes with is set up to blow air out of the switch enclosure, and is a standard loud server fan.I would give this 4/5 stars IF I hadn’t been able to swap the fan out. I was considering returning it because of the noise. But I opened it up and was surprised to see a second 40mm fan mount location available with ample room for airflow.I used a 2-pin to 3-pin adapter, hooked into a 3-pin Y splitter, to replace the single 12v 0.08A fan with two quiet Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX 12v 0.05A fans. I installed them so they blow air over the board and chiplet heatsinks, rather than the original configuration of blowing air out. I feel this is a far more efficient way of cooling the switch components, it’s nearly twice the airflow but at substantially less noise. Now that it’s nearly silent, I can have it right by my desk without driving me insane. If you buy this, it’s absolutely worth swapping the fans.

LOUD FAN, speed and stability seems okay
Had it for a few days… here’s my big 2 issues with this:1) Fan is annoyingly loud compared to my netgear 10G switch, which is super quiet compared to this… I even swapped out the fan like one of the comments suggested with the Noctua NF-A4x20 Fans… nope, same loudness so it’s just the way the motherboard operates this fan inside this case. Ugh! Noise…..2) I noticed some dropouts when streaming. It’s definitely not the ethernet cord since that’s connected to my nvida pro. Streaming doesn’t stutter or lag when connected from my Netgear Switch, but here and there it does on this one. What? They’re both unmanaged switches, so nothing else is different when using the same ethernet cord.Other than that, I just moved my priority or high bandwidt devices to my Netgear and all else that I dont care so much for to this device. Sucks that I had to do this, but it’s the only workaround. Another option was to return this and pay a few hundred more for a better switch, but my other devices isn’t worth the price tag upgrade. Guess I’m just sticking to this one. Price tag is good otherwise, but you do get what you paid for! Definitely recommend only as a low budget and secondary switch. I would stay clear if it’s going to be your primary unmanaged switch!

The price and quality of this device
Where i live finally got fiber internet. This is a very good switch at a affordable price, my speeds are almost the same as what my provider is sending me, I’m very happy with my purchase . i Haven’t had any issues with the switch. Highly recommended.

Four bad ports in only three months
This switch is rapidly failing. It has been losing 10Gb on one port after another. I’m down to four ports with functional 10Gb connection now. I’m outside of the return period so I’m hopeful for warranty help.Edit: They have promised to reimburse me after I purchase another switch, but I have to buy it first.

The product – NICGIGA S100-0800T – has a compact metal chassis that feels solid and well-constructed. It’s rack-mountable but also sits comfortably on a shelf ( my case ) . Despite of some reviews complaining on the fan noise being loud I was – pleasantly – surprised with the ” noise ” created by the fan . Is audible but, honestly, is not loud at all. This model is an unmanaged switch, so there’s no web GUI or configuration needed — plug and play. For me is ideal : just wanted to upgrade bandwidth without dealing with VLANs or network tuning…and of course … possibility to have access ( home network LAN ) to more than two 10G ports .Being a plug-n-play device I didn’t notice any issues : just plug the Lan cable and it get connected ! Running the transfer ( NAS –> Desktop ) using the switch the speed is pretty decent : 290-320 MB /s ( see picture ) vs 100-120 MB/s when using the standard 1Gbe router port … but this is obvious !Overall : a good product – I am using it since four weeks now – encountering ZERO issues so far !Talking about the price … well … this is a different story here : I have purchased this product at a price of 278 Euro which is – at least in my view – still high but close to the correct value for the money. To summarize :I do recommend it for someone who needs multiple 10 GB ports ( my case ).
A Dao –
Can support multiple 10G cables which is very good if you have multiple computers that need to connect to multiple NASs. Great value for money, and great speeds achieved. Fairly quiet.
