Easily assembled
Very easy to assemble and attach to the door. Unsure of how easy it will be to take the unit out to charge as of yet. I will hive an update kn a few weeks. Thus far I am happy with my purchase.

Doesn’t work on my double doors
I was unable to use this as desired because of the seal/trim between my two double French doors. This disallowed the mount from sitting flush against the door and mounted between the two. I tried to unscrew the trim to place the door Mount underneath, however due to its design it is not exactly conformed to my door and would make the trim stick out about an inch. There is no way to use this on double French doors like mine. I thought this would be an easy five minute install but now I’m potentially needing to alter my door permanently for what was intended to be a flexible solution.

Solid quality, not compatible with the wired version (obviously)
I got this mount knowing it was meant for the battery version of the Nest Doorbell but wanted to see if I could make it work with the wired model. As expected, it doesn’t fit properly since the wired version is much smaller and has a cord. That said, I went ahead and tested it anyway, and I was impressed by the overall quality. It’s well-built, stays put, and the setup is straightforward with clear instructions.When I tried it on both an interior and exterior door, I noticed a small gap caused by the metal pushing against the frame. Both doors still closed and latched fine, but the interior one was pushed out slightly, and the exterior pressed against the weather stripping, creating a tiny draft. Not ideal, but understandable given the design with anti-theft as the priority.Since the mount’s main purpose is to prevent theft, I can see why they made it thicker and more secure. For what it’s designed to do, it seems like a fair tradeoff. If you have the correct battery model, this should be a strong and practical anti-theft solution.

garbage- not theft proof at all- backing does not separate with key making it impossible to secure the doorbell, therefore, anyone with a coin or long nails can pop off plastic cover and remove device

Great anti-theft mount!
So I have been wanting to install my Google Nest doorbell for a while but could never get anyone to come over to help me with screwing in the mount outside. I finally decided on trying out this mount for my doorbell and see how well it would work, at least temporarily. I think it’s a great buy and works great for a temporary set up or permanent one. The anti-theft aspect of the mount is definitely going to keep your doorbell safe, as it’s housed in this little mount securely. My only gripe would be that I wish it came with an additional piece or something to be able to have the doorbell at an angle. It can only be used positioned straight out facing, but that’s just me being picky. Other than that, it works and is a great value. I definitely recommend this mount!

Additional security for apartment or dorm
This is a good mount for a Google Nest Doorbell in situations where there may not be other alternatives for mounting such as an apartment or dorm door.It allows for the functionality of the Nest Doorbell without requiring permanent mounting – and likely forbidden holes in doors or walls.Installation is easy and security is near immediate.

Solid choice for my apartment doorbell camera!
My last doorbell mount broke after being in the cold weather for so long. To make matters worse, I threw it away along with the metal plate that activates the camera to work. I tried asking for a replacement from google but they said they would need the old one so I was stuck.Come to find out there are some mounts that have the metal plate built in and can get the camera to work without the factory one. Thankfully this mount is one of them. Just for that fact alone, five stars.It’s very easy to set up, feels sturdy on my door so it’s not sliding everywhere, and the design makes it decently hard to steal the camera. My only wish is that it was able to adjust the angle since my door is in a hall and can’t see past a certain point but for now I’m very happy with it.
