    Wow
This is the best monitor ive ever seen in person, i can hardly believe the clarity. I use it for gaming and desktop apps and it performs like a pro. Yes the price was seriously high, but you get what you pay for. Screen glare is very low so i do not see any reflections from light sources behind me. Setup was easy and the packaging was very good. I used a monitor arm and not the included stand, that was super easy to setup as well. My only complaint is while the monitor controls are very easy to use, the on screen menu is so small on the base resolution it’s hard to see/read. But that is no reason not to buy this fantastic monitor. Before i bought this i had read that some people had noticed something around text characters like ghosting, i cannot see anything like this, text seems very clear and crisp. In conclusion, if you have a good pc and want to get the most out of it this monitor is a must have.

    Amazing visuals
Still super high quality after so much time of having it, making every game I play look beautiful and movies appear vibrant as if I was in a theatre. You can adjust it manually on the back to adjust height and angles for yourself. It’s a little heavy, especially for a monitor that isn’t super thick. The value for money is there, however you might be able to find other better options elsewhere. For example, I found an OLED monitor that was bigger, ran at around 300hz, and I believe was 4K at best buy. So you might have other options for yourself if this one isn’t for you.

One of a kind, the best.
Truly a work of art. The colors are beyond perfect, the clarity is amazing, the screen size could not be better. This monitor is not just an upgrade, it can be seen as an investment. It is near impossible for me to look at another TV/Monitor the same anymore. I love the high refresh rate when playing on 4K, and I even more appreciate how I can switch to 480HZ at 1080p for competitive games. I can game, watch movies, and do media work at the same time. This monitor is suitable for anyone, It is easy to use, setup and I love the durability. Even after 5 months, this monitor is the best purchase I think I have made in the last 3 years.

Make sure you have Firm Ware Version MCM106
I got this at a nice discount because I bought a ‘returned’ monitor. After hooking it up I was less then happy with the way it looked. it was pretty awful. washed out and red to the red orange scale. My first thought was I’d be returning it as well.Thankfully I checked for Firmware updates first. It was on firmware 105 Update 106 was available. I downloaded and installed it. Easy peasy. Bam! The monitor was fixed. I’m a big fan of Asus. Been buying their MB’s for years. since like 1995. I don’t know what was going on in their heads to ship this monitor as it was. I suppose someone, maybe even me could have figured out how to fix it in the control panel without the update. Thankfully I did not have to fiddle with that. Downloading and installing MCM106 Fixed it.Hint – it is very easy to install if you have taken the time to run a USB cable from the back of the monitor to your computer. The install directions tell you to make a USB drive with the install file on it and then plug that into your monitor. Which I was getting ready to do. 1st had to find one I could clean as they wanted no other files on it. While working on that the monitor installed 106 on its own.So my only downside Is the previous owner registered it before sending it back so when I went to register it I was told it was already registered. So no 3 year warrenty. Hopefully nothing goes wrong but I would like to have it show when I go to Asus and log in along with my previous MB’s and the one I just bought and my new asus graphics card.

    Awful experience and beta firmware
Horrible white uniformity, left half is magenta and right half is green. My 10 year old IPS had better uniformity.OSD is VERY buggy and half the settings dont work even after multiple firmware updates (check the firmware update change list they acknowledge the bugs as fixed and are still not.OLED Anti Flicker wont work at all no matter what combination used, support could not help me either.DSC causes the display to disconnect anytime I enter display settings in Windows settings or close a full screen window.Pixel cleaning would run for 6 hours straight and when I turned my monitor it would report failed when its supposed to only run for a few minutes.Factory calibration was off and not as the card included states.Has dark crushing from RGB 1,1,1 ~ 4,4,4 unless you run it at 1.8 gamma and then calibrate from that. But then you end up with massive SRGB color loss of only 78% SRGB instead of 99%.Matte coating makes everything look like a smeary grainy mess on gray colors.Text looked good with MacType DeepGrayNoHinting enabled and Windows ClearType disabled. This will be my first and last Matte OLED DSC monitor.

DP port issue, otherwise pretty good!
This is my first 4K monitor. It looks great and I believe it’s worth it/ has a good price even at this size.Nice image, no bad pixels, good stand adjustability, some fun but not terribly useful gaming features depending on the games you play.I use this as the left monitor in a dual monitor setup, so the controls being on the back right and so far up is a pain. This is mostly annoying because I connect 2 PCs and want to easily switch between them. This isn’t a deal breaker, just not ideal for my current setup.Big issue and reason for 4 stars: No matter what I try it with, the DP port is not working for me. It detects something is connected but no device can initiate it, even if that’s the only connection present. It doesn’t matter what cable or device I try it with. Works very well with each HDMI port. Unfortunately, HDMI being the only option limits the max frequency my setup can run the monitor to 120Hz, leaving some performance on the table. This is a quirk of my setup; I definitely wanted something with DP. I will likely return it for this reason.

Very good WOLED screen. Ended up using the 480hz mode more than I thought I would. Buy this model if you play a lot of competitive games which benefits from high framerates or else buy the QD-OLED model for the Dolby-Vision support.Make sure you have powerful hardware to fully utilize the capabilities of this display or else consider something else.

I recently had the pleasure of upgrading my gaming setup with the ASUS TUF Gaming 28” 4K 144Hz DSC HDMI 2.1 Gaming Monitor, and let me tell you, it has been an absolute game changer. This monitor is a testament to ASUS’s commitment to quality and innovation in the gaming industry.First and foremost, the 4K resolution combined with the blazing fast 144Hz refresh rate makes for an incredibly immersive gaming experience. The visuals are crisp, the colors are vibrant, and the level of detail in games is breathtaking. Whether exploring open worlds, engaging in fast-paced shooters, or enjoying a visually stunning game, this monitor will deliver in spades. 100% recommended!

You should buy this one, it’s best for the price. Try using SVP software, it made my monitor look 10 times better after adjusting brightness, contrast & saturation settings in my media players (you also need to setup the proper codecs in media players or HDR will not work at all, google how to get your media players to work with SVP to get HDR to work… mine wasn’t even working even though I thought it was). I seek through the video to a dark spot and set your brightness, contrast and saturation in the media player there. After this, the darks and brights are so unbelievably awesome because there is 60 times more color than SDR, and the rest of the colors makes a difference too. I never had a clue it could look this good!! Use the DisplayPort Cable they give you in the box (it is superior to hdmi). Also, make sure you go Windows > Settings > System > HDR Option (turn on), and click above that option for more HDR options. There, the windows “HDR/SDR brightness balance” slider controls the SDR still visible (only the HDR pictures and videos can be HDR, so the rest is SDR, and therefore that slider does not affect the HDR at all.Change settings in monitor before switching to HDR mode in Windows, because you cannot change any monitor settings in HDR mode. (choose different modes in “GameVisual” category, I think Cinema Mode and Racing Mode or something allows you to change brightness, contrast, and even saturation.)After that, you never would have guessed it could make such a difference! Just remember to turn the HDR back off and on.Also, it literally gives off any heat at all somehow even though it’s so huge and powerful! It even has cheesy speakers don’t expect much there though haha. The DisplayPort cord they gave stopped working (or something? idk haha) It’s just a cheap cord, you should buy a good one!Overall, since I always use headphones, not the speakers, I give this monitor 10 out of 10 in everything else.
