Wow…. Just WOW!
I’m always a bit a skeptic when it comes to electronics, but using a new ASUS Vivobook after my home PC died and being limited to one screen was a drag. I saw this one and took a chance. OMG! The screen is lightweight, ridiculously easy to set up and the display is beautiful. No image degradation when viewed from an angle, the built-in stand is handy, and with the included HDMI to Mini HDMI and power adapter, you can connect an Xbox or other source if you want to make your game system portable. I’ve even tried it out by hooking it to my Motorola 5G Stylus 2023 to watch movies. Hooked to a USB-C from a laptop, it gets its power from the connection using only one cable. Top it all off, the ASUS Vivobook and the new auxiliary monitor fit in my laptop bag with room left over where my old laptop had to squeeze in. Amazing piece of tech for the price.

Compact, sleek, and high resolution!
The display monitor exceeds every expectation I had, while remaining cheap, high-quality, and portable. Emphasis should be placed on the portability of this item, as its form factor, being thin and sleek, is complemented by its ability to utilize most devices, power supply, so as to do away with any external power supply outlet plug-in. Additionally, unless extenuating circumstances somehow present themselves, setting up and connecting to the display requires zero external knowledge or guidance. It is also nice that only one USB-C display cable, which is included, Comes equipped with a USB a adapter, therefore making the product accessible to Annie user unless VGA connections are at play (Which, unless you are using very old systems, shouldn’t be a factor).10 out of 10 product and I would highly recommend it to anyone and would buy again (And in my case, I did buy an additional unit for dual display purposes once I confirmed the product was to my liking).

If you’re having issues with the single-cord functionality…
The screen is great if you’re using it with a laptop that has a USB-C lightning display/power port, which is obviously what it’s for. Works brilliantly with my MacBook. However…For *anyone* having issues with the single USB-C cord functionality: It won’t work if your USB-C isn’t lightning *and* display in one. ASUS, I love your stuff, but it’s ridiculous that my $3K setup, nor my spouse’s, with ASUS motherboards can’t run your own ZenScreen without wasting an extra $120 on an internal adapter (… that’s made by ASUS). As if I didn’t have enough cords, now I have 2 more. Can’t use the pen without the lightning/DP port either, unless you want to buy a special cord that has a USB 3.0 split TOO.Giving 4 stars because it works with laptops with USB-C lightning with display port, but not with its own product.

Game-Changer for Portable Work Setups
This ASUS ZenScreen is one of those things you don’t realize you needed until you have it. Super lightweight and easy to carry, it plugs right into my laptop with just one USB-C cabl; no extra mess. The display is crisp, colors look great, and the matte finish cuts out glare when I’m working by a window. It instantly boosted my productivity when working remote or traveling. The included case doubles as a stand, which is a smart touch. Solid build, reliable connection and super convenient.

Easy to use and great quality
I love the quality of this and the screen size! It’s super easy to use and connect to my laptop for an additional screen. It is perfect to take with me when traveling for work so that I have two screens instead of just my laptop.

Monitor Stand Broke Within Months
After about two months, one of the supports on the back of the monitor broke, and now, three months later, the other side has developed a crack. I have not handled it roughly, yet the monitor can no longer stand properly and it’s very inconvenient. I contacted ASUS customer service, but I haven’t received any response.

Great for working in bed or away from home!
I bought this before having abdominal surgery, so I could work from home in bed. (Also justified purchasing an adjustable bed, haha!) This helped so much! Because the stand is the width of the monitor, it stands up well on the bed or your lap, even if the surface is uneven or plush, like blankets. Sometimes I set both my laptop and this monitor on a wooden lap table–the table wasn’t quite wide enough for both, so I just positioned the portable monitor slightly behind the laptop and used one side of it. And sometimes I used my computer directly on my lap, setting the portable off to the side on the bed next to me. It stands up really well as-is (the optional stand wouldn’t work well on uneven surfaces).I also pack this for long trips sometimes, in case I want to edit the photos and videos I’ve been taking. It’s nice to have the extra monitor for that. It’s also good to have the extra monitor in countries where I don’t speak the language–that way, I can do stuff on one screen and watch Netflix/Prime/whatever on the other. :-)The picture quality is good. It’s not up there with my expensive laptop, but I don’t expect it to be at this price. Colors aren’t quite as brilliant and textures aren’t quite as sharp. But I have no problem whatsoever using it for gaming, and text looks good on it. I wouldn’t even notice the slightly reduced picture quality if it weren’t sitting right next to my gaming laptop. I just wouldn’t recommend it for high-level graphic designers, obviously.VERY lightweight and thin! The protective case is like an envelope, so packing it takes about as much room as a paper folder would. I set it against my laptop in the laptop sleeve of my bag. It doesn’t weight much.My favorite part is that this doesn’t need a power cord! You just attach it to your laptop with a USB-C, and that’s it–no extra cords to mess with or pack.Very happy with this purchase, and I’ve recommended this model to several other people. I’ve also always had great luck with Asus computers.

I have been working from home for a while and for some reason I did not had an external monitor. Now I am need to use excel and powerpoint a lot and it was a headache to work with only one monitor so I found this portable option and I love it!Is super light, can move it around as I want.I have a lenovo (windows 10) and I only had to plug it to my computer and done! No installation required. It worked very well with my mac book air as well.My only negative is that I dont think you can use it for games (nintendo switch), which to be honest, I dont mind because my main use is for work anyway.Love it!

Notice – I do not game or watch movies, or TV. I only use YouTube for watching fix it videos. So, I have no idea what quality some people are looking for. What I do know is that this little monitor is a dynamite little screen for my purposes. The picture is excellent! The size is astonishingly small and it is as light as a feather. As always, I am satisfied with Asus. They have never let me down yet, and I have been with them for a long time. The price is one of those things that must be considered. I feel it could be a little cheaper, but I am not feeling this is a jip either. For me, it is good value and a solid product. It even comes with a nice little protective case that is leagues better than the one I ordered just for this. It hooks up easy and just works. My phone can even run it too, though it drains the battery pretty quick (Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 8). The USB C feature is just what I needed and adapting a charing brick in-line with the phone was simple. Just needed an adapter ($10) but now it all runs smoothly. I think most people will be very happy with it too. I am hoping that in the future a wireless, touchscreen model with its own battery pack will become available. Even if wireless isn’t an option, a touchscreen with battery would be game changing. Overall, I say go for it. I am pleased and glad I did.
