Minimal case, very good for what it’s intended to be.
I think this case is getting a lot of undeserved negative reviews. It’s a very minimal case, if you want that it’s great. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t as slippery as people made it out to be. Is it grippy, no, but it’s not like handling a wet eel. It slides in and out of your pockets well and is easy to hold and operate the phone with one hand. I’ve always loved the open bottom cases for swiping up and was sad to see so few out there, these are in rare supply. It’s probably not going to survive a big drop, but most cases don’t protect the screen any better, most times I’ve damaged them by the front hitting something after being dropped and any case doesn’t protect from that. It looks good too being so sleek.

The case is a bit slippery as noted in other reviews, but not too slippery for me. With my lPhone in this case, the phone goes in and out of a pocket easily. The molded in “nubs” help with grip. The case fits absolutely perfectly on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the buttons work smoothly – better than any other case I’ve ever used. Overall the case feels sturdy with excellent quality, and it seems like it will offer good protection for a drop. The edges of the case around openings, front and back, are raised just enough to protect the glass screen and camera lenses. I like the smooth case does not collect dirt and lint like silicone cases do.

The color inside was better..
Don’t get me wrong, this specific rugged version beats case is fantastic. It fits incredibly well, is exceptionally durable and high performing, and looks beautiful. It has all of the mid-level protection the new iPhone would need, before stepping into the realm of extreme protection cases. ALL of the buttons and edges are covered, and it is clearly tastefully designed, and does not look childish, as other cases do. The texturized dots covering the lower half of the case are incredibly effective in adding a grippiness that prevents drops, while also NOT sticking to the inside of your pockets. It honestly feels good while handling it. At $80 I do think this is extremely expensive and overpriced, as I could justify $50-$60 for this.All that being said: what is with these color options?! The Rocky Blue is my favorite, and then the Cosmic Orange is okay, but a bit loud. This Aspen Grey is awful. Truly. In person, it is a mucky, brownish-grey. It is drab and depressing, and clashes with the silver finish of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. It has an incredibly vibrant and beautiful neon yellow lining, that I WISH covered the entire case. I highly recommend this case, but the color options desperately need work. Case: 10. Color: 6.

Stylish, and works, but not well enough
Color matches the phone pretty well, and I did actually drop it once or twice, and I feel confident it would protect the phone moving forward. However, two major gripes:1. The charging cable port is extremely sharp. If I hold the phone with a pinky in a certain way, it really hurts. Almost to the point where I feel like it’s cutting into my skin. (Doesn’t, but it sure feels like it.) The charging cable port also doesn’t allow for many of my cables to fit, believe it or not.2. It’s extremely slippery. Even with the grippy edges, it fell out of my hands more than once, and it likes to slide around. Just doesn’t offer enough grip.I’d also likely not be able to recommend it if you plan on using a MagSage wallet or something similar, as the grippy portion and smooth portion don’t appear to lend itself to using an attachment, though this comment is mostly speculation.These factors plus the crazy cost (I had some gift credit, so it was thankfully cheaper for me personally) mean this isn’t the case I’ll end up using, as much as I dig the color.

The Beats rugged iPhone 17 case is a great compromise between thickness, feel, and durability. The textured back of case, along with it’s size, make it very easy to hold and actively anti-slip. The case looks great, and feels sturdy. The MagSafe connectors quickly grab on to compatible stands/chargers, automatically aligning the iPhone as you place it.If I had to pick a negative, some USB C cables with fatter heads may not fit with the case on. If you don’t cable charge/transfer, hardly matters.

So-So…zero protection
This is a cute/girly case. That’s about it as far as the positives.It has a slippery grip and doesn’t seem to be the type of case for protection. If protection is what you’re worried about, this is not the one for you. It’s super slim and does not cover the bottom of the phone. The price for this case is very overpriced, especially for the quality that you are receiving. If you’d rather save money and get the exact same quality I’d go with Elago, 100%.

Very slippy, disappointed with it as it’s just way too slippy. iPhone will fall out of your hands with this slippy case. I wouldn’t buy again, bought a real leather cover instead.

Esteticamente me agrada bastante. Tem uma pegada bem lisa, então não espere um bom “grip” com estas capas. Protege bem a lente e parte das câmeras. Na real, se custasse metade do valor era uma boa compra. Só comprei porque estava em promoção saiu 35€ por 55€ já acho que não vale a pena
