Fantastic Upgrade—Ideal for Monitoring Elderly Parent and Grandchild
We recently upgraded from an earlier Blurams camera model to this new Blurams Indoor Camera 2K, and it’s become an essential part of our daily lives. We primarily use it to keep an eye on my elderly father, who suffers from dementia, and also to watch our granddaughter during her naps. This camera has truly exceeded our expectations in every aspect.One of the standout features is the impressive video quality. The 2K resolution provides crisp, clear images, making it easy to see fine details—even subtle movements or facial expressions from across the room. With full 360-degree pan-and-tilt capability, the camera easily covers every corner without any blind spots. The motorized tracking is incredibly helpful, automatically following any detected movement, which gives us peace of mind knowing we won’t miss anything important if my father moves around unexpectedly.The smart detection and alert features are also outstanding. The camera reliably identifies human movement and sends real-time notifications to our phones, allowing us to quickly check in. This instant responsiveness is invaluable when watching our granddaughter wake up, allowing us to get to her before she becomes upset, and equally helpful in alerting us when my father needs assistance.We particularly appreciate the two-way audio capability. The microphone and speaker are clear and responsive, letting us speak calmly and clearly to our granddaughter when she stirs from her nap or reassure my father if he feels disoriented or confused. Additionally, the built-in siren is an extra safety feature we appreciate, though thankfully haven’t needed yet.Night vision performance is also excellent, providing clear monochrome footage even in complete darkness. Whether checking on our granddaughter during late-night naps or ensuring my father is safe overnight, the IR night vision has proven highly effective.The app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to view live feeds, adjust settings, and review recorded footage. It supports multiple users seamlessly, so my spouse and I can both monitor and manage the camera simultaneously from our own devices. Integration with Alexa and Google Assistant further enhances convenience, fitting neatly into our existing smart home ecosystem.Another nice detail is the privacy mode, which allows us to disable the camera’s view instantly when it’s not needed, providing peace of mind regarding privacy.In short, this Blurams Indoor Camera 2K has been a significant upgrade from the earlier model. Was sent 2 cameras with audio damaged and hardly working. My baby was crying right next to camera but the microphone was so damaged that it could not pick up on it. These work really well at first but then you start to have issues after a little while. There’s a constant static noise that can sometimes make it hard to hear what’s being said. Picture was really clear at first but then becomes blurry and dark. I tried reaching out to customer service (it was so hard to even attempt to get ahold of someone, no one in app, you send an email and eventually they respond) and they just kept telling me to reboot camera even though I already did, I told them that. They offered no further help so I’d say customer service is really bad. It costs 5.99 per month per camera to see and save everything. It’s a good camera for a while but eventually they start to malfunction.I will say this, it’s definitely probably the best value though on here. I’ve tried a few others and I believe this brand was the best thus far. I say that however, being on a budget. Not to be cynical, but when something seems too good to be true.. it usually is. How are these some of the best cameras you can get on here and yet also the cheapest.. by far?My concern is that China has already been spotted with these weird balloons in America trying to spy on us and everything else.. I mean, it seems that we are supplying them with exactly the kind of information they are looking to know. Is there anyone in America making sure that’s not happening? Is there anyone even remotely concerned with how our data is processed and where it goes?If I had the money.. I’d be back to my vtech baby cameras. Those were the best. The good ones. $150 for two cameras and one mini tablet (you can also connect your phone!) amazing quality and made in America. I only bought and am stuck with China made and owned security cameras because I cannot afford stuff like that these days. Probably should invest soon. FFT.

Love this security camera. I needed one to watch my new puppy when I have to make a quick trip out (Example, to the store.) It wasn’t hard to set up and it has great picture quality. Perfect for what I need. I love everything about it.
