Great choice for modern and century homes
I have a few other DREO fans that I’m impressed with so I thought I’d take a chance with this ceiling fan. This fan does not disappoint.It’s very simple to install. Once you remove the base and install it to the ceiling box mount there is a small hook you can hang the base from while you tie into the ground, hit, and neutral wires for your switch. There’s plenty of space so the electrical connection won’t be cramped while you twist the base onto the mount and screw it tight. Mine came with a collar for the mount plate to hide the screws so not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. I preferred to install the four fan blades on a work table and then bring it to the ceiling box.As far as operation goes, it’s very smooth and quiet. Was able to pair it easily to the app and control it along with my other DREO products. The remote is pretty nice and doesn’t feel too “plasticky”. The light gets bright and has a smooth to soft characteristic with many different color temperatures to choose from.Overall very happy to have this well designed and functional fan in our four bedrooms, especially during this part of the summer.

Great product that you can frequently catch on sale!
I normally don’t pay much attention to the ceiling fan over my head to be honest. However, we recently upgraded the fans in our house and I decided to give this one a try for our first room. Long story short (“yada yada yada”), we now have Dreos up in all of our rooms! It was easy to install. (As a matter of fact, I am a 50yr old woman and it freaked my father-in-law out that I took on the installation by myself, but it was so easy to follow along with the video online that it made me look smart and gave me some serious dad-in-law cred.). It is noticeably sleek in appearance, mounts flush to the ceiling, has various light temps so that you can make it match other lamps/lighting in the room, is super quiet, and generates quite a bit of air considering the size. The app is easy to use. We have a couple that have WiFi and link to the easy to use app and one that does not. Honestly, the WiFi/app is more of a luxury as we tend to just use the remote. I was concerned that the top of the mount is just white plastic, but it actually looks better once installed than I was expecting.The only minor irritation is that there seems to be a 1-2 second delay from the time I flip the wall switch until it turns on. But it also remembers my last setting, so this is not a deal breaker for me.

Modern fan, quiet, cool and convenient
Easy install, looks sleek and modern. Having a remote + the ability to integrate with smart home systems is a really nice added feature. Fan is whisper quiet and provides plenty of cooling air. The remote did stop functioning after about 15 days, but their support was quick to help me troubleshoot and send out a new remote which fixed the problem.

Great breeze incredibly quiet
This fan is great. Super easy to install. Incredibly quiet and a lot of air. The only design detail is the screws are exposed …there is actually a recessed area on the fan where the screws are and it would be super easy to cover it with a design detail. I thought there was a piece missing so I’ll just come up with something that doesn’t look tacky. The app detected both fans as soon as I created an account and it was incredibly easy to set up as well. Also I bought two fans and one of them seemed to have trouble when i changed speeds…it seemed to get stuck, do a quarter turn and another quarter turn a few times before it settled in. It may have been a one off but I’ll keep an eye on it. Thats the only reason I didn’t give it five stars but the the other fan has been fine and the fan itself is impressive.

Great fan so far after a month of use.
Great fan, easy to install!! I recommend buying the model with the smart app capabilities!! I installed in my daughter’s room. She loves to use the remote and I can make sure it’s is off during the day when she’s not home. It pushes a great amount of air. This is a good price. Some of it seems to be made a little cheaper as you can tell when you put it together but so far so good and it looks good after it was put together. I did have to balance the blades but it was easy enough to do. The best part is you can pick the lighting, Kelvin temperature! Ours looks like a 6,000 k which makes the room more than bright enough.

100% the BEST ceiling fan I’ve ever purchased.Silent as far as I’m concerned (I have concrete ceilings) The fan was installed by me in about 40 mins total.Strength of airflow… Very controllable from ‘light air’ to ‘gale force’ papers blown off coffee table lol (1 through 6)My Alexa found it and connected without any issues.I can control fan or light totally independently on Alexa.Remote is simple. Sits in draw next to couch in case Alexa goes down)My one note that would make this even more perfect (just for me) The lamp being dimmable to a LOWER extent.& if didn’t add too much to cost Full spectrum of colors rather then the cool, warm and white settingsJust my 2c again GREAT FAN! Buy with confidence!
