Excellent fan, great addition for living room concerts given by divas
With the recent heat waves that are overtaking us this summer, I am trying to find ways to keep my energy bill as low as possible. With an open layout home, this can prove difficult especially when you have many large windows. Enter in this fan.First, I want to say that generally I like Dreo products. I have three space heaters designed by them which I love, so I was excited to get this fan because I believe Dreo is good quality. Not only do their products look chic with pleasing metallic accents, but they also perform wonderfully.So far, this fan has been no exception. The power on this thing is amazing. I thought it only had eight settings, however, I was delightfully surprised to see that actually has about 10, including a turbo setting. With my blinds drawn and my AC kept low along with a ceiling fan [the ceiling fan is beautiful but honestly sadly it is more for decoration and air circulation than cooling, hence getting this Dreo], I will never need turbo. I mean, unless I plan to perform a rendition of the Cowboy Carter/Renaissance tour concert in my living room, but she really aint no diiiiva.I checked my thermostat and when it was 96 degrees outside, in my home, with this fan, the thermostat was set to 81 and after turning on the fan at level 4, ten minutes later my inside temperature dropped to 78. Now, I am anemic so 78 is quite comfortable to me, but I imagine for my more hot bodied brethren out there, this will do you just as well.A couple things to note: for being as powerful as it is, the fan is pretty quiet. It’s not silent, but at around 6 or 7 is when the wind picks up but still, tolerable levels. There is no rattling, however, so if you are using this in your bedroom it might make for good white noise if that’s your thing. This model does not have Wifi, but it does come with a remote. Fair warning, if you are like me with multiple Dreo products, the other remotes work on this too so there may be some confusion there.Overall, I would definitely recommend this and may be considering getting another for my top level floor which is hot as hell year round given how much sun it gets.

super quiet, effective, and versatile
This fan is an excellent fan! It was twice the price of a box fan I also tried, but I have to say it’s twice the fan.Quiet! It’s delightfully quiet, hardly even qualifying as white noise. The low speeds are just a gentle whisper, not obscuring anything else I might want to hear.I have it set across the room, about 8 feet from my workstation, so the remote control is pretty handy.However, it has an Automatic setting! It’s smart enough to ease up from speed 1 to speed 2 and even 3 when the temps start climbing. And it decelerates automatically, as well. That is a great feature!I like the fact that I can shift the direction the fan faces very, very easily (even though it very securely stays how I set it – facing upward, downward, straight on, or turned toward the right or left. I have not wanted it to oscillate, so I’m ignoring that, for now.It’s very well built, very sturdy, very solid. I’m not concerned that it’s going to get knocked over.My husband assembled it very easily, in 5 little steps. He was impressed with its quality. And the back of that assembly card has a cheat-sheet for the controls, so I folded it and keep it handy in case I want a new setting.I really like the fan – all these features are nice, but I’m still jazzed about how quiet it is.The owner’s manual is straightforward and clear.

Could Be Better
It’s not as quiet as implied or as some people say, but it’s still pretty quiet on settings 1-4 and then gets louder on settings 5 and up. It also blows a lot of air even on setting 1, where I usually have it set. I’d prefer it be a lot gentler on setting 1, but instead I have to oscillate it so it isn’t blowing on me constantly. This is OK during the summer, but I think it may be a problem come fall and spring. On the plus side, oscillation doesn’t really add any noise.A couple other problems is that it doesn’t remember the oscillation angle, so every time you turn it on it defaults to 120 degrees; however, it does remember the fan speed. So why can’t it do both? Also, after the fan display turns off you have to press a remote button once to wake it up and a second time to make the change. Both of these are annoying, but not deal breakers.So other than nit picking, it does seem well made and sturdy, and is quieter than other fans I have owned. For the price, I hope it lasts many years, because I’ll be running it 12-16 hours a day to give my HVAC a break.Update: it turns out it does remember the oscillation angle. Only the first 1/2 turn is at the full angle.

Muy buen flujo de aire, silencioso, incluye termómetro, la app muy completa, puede ajustar el ángulo horizontal de 20° a 180° escogiendo cualquier sector del semicírculo, temporizadores, etc. Lo que pueden mejorar: La extensión del pedestal no es mucha y la cabeza del ventilador solo se puede girar hacia arriba y no hacia abajo.
