This gaming microphone works well with PC,laptop,Mac via USB connection, but it is NOT compatible with Xbox.
What features does the AM8T mic have?
This computer gaming microphone comes with RGB button, mute button, mic gain knob, headphones jack and headphones volume knob which it is convenient to control the mic in podcasting, recording, gaming and streaming.
Can RGB lights be controlled?
Yes. The RGB button on the AM8 gaming microphone can switch on and off and change colors without affecting the operation of the microphone. You can long press the RGB button for 3 seconds to switch on and off and tap to change the color.
What is the maximum thickness that the clamp can handle?
The PC gaming microphone boom arm can mount tightly to the desk up to 2.1” thick. Overly rounded or overhanging desktop edges do not make good mounting surfaces.Make sure the C-clamp are resting on the flat surfaces.
How can I get loud and clear sound quality while recording?

Outstanding gear for way less than they should be charging!
I decided to try my hand at streaming again but didn’t want to shell out 200$ for equipment again not knowing if I’d stick with it. Did some research, watched some reviews and settled on this one the Fifine AM8.Honestly I did not have super high expectations because it came with a boom arm and the mic for like 60 bucks total? Most sub 100$ mics on amazon just aren’t very high quality, but boy was I mistaken with this one.Out of the box this mic was crystal clear with vocal quality and super easy to start using. It didn’t come with any proprietary drivers or software which normally some might have issues with but I use OBS and customize the nitty gritty stuff with filters and settings inside of OBS so I wasn’t missing anything. It was plug and play which is always appreciated.The cable that came with it was USBC to USBA which I found make the audio a tiny bit crackly, still great quality for discord calls, but when it came to streaming it was a little more than I was hoping for. So I bought a USBC to USBC cable and the fuzziness immediately went away. I would absolutely love to try this with XLR since its also built into the mic, but since I don’t have an audio mixer this review is mainly about USBC to USBC.The pop filter is great making P and S sounds less harsh. I found by place the mic right next to my mouth and not in front of it also helped a lot and the sound was able to hit the top of the mic (because its dynamic) with no issue without being too harsh. From the sides and back the mic barely picked anything up (thats what we want to happen) and with simple noise suppression or noise gates that went away completely.The boom arm does not come with a shock mount which honestly would have been amazing. I did notice without all of my filters and audio adjustments in OBS that if I gently tap my desk, the mic pics up the vibration very easily even though its on a boom arm. I couldnt find any shock mounts that fit this either. It would be great to have the option to buy that accessory to complete the entire mic ensemble. Otherwise everything about this mic is fantastic and has far exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to what I was hoping to receive. I am blown away by the quality for the price, my subscribers think the voice quality is extremely clear and easy to understand, so if theyre happy so am I.————————————————————Update: After about 5 months I ran into an issue where even using USBC i would start getting crackly fuzziness in the mic. The issue followed the mic around so I knew it wasn’t any of my settings. It got pretty bad to where it was affecting streams. I contacted the company and they sent me troubleshooting steps on how to resolve the issue, I followed them all and unfortunately the issue did not resolve. Fifine decided it was likely a hardware issue or something faulty with the microphone, asked for my address, and sent me one in 2 days to replace it. The customer service from FIFINE is absolutely outstanding! They not only saved my but on stream by getting a mic to me within my next streams schedule but stayed in contact with me the entire time start to finish making sure I was helped to my satisfaction and that they did everything to assist me in a way that resolved the issue.Fifine is an absolutely amazing company and I will buy stuff from them specifically going forward because a great product + a great price + outstanding customer service area literally everything I look for in companies I buy products from. Super impressed by everything start to finish so far!

A must have if you want a quality mic without breaking the bank!
First of all, I want to say that Fifine packages all of their products so well, it’s a small detail but for the affordability they package their products as if they were high end and much more expensive. So, you can laugh all you want but prior to buying this mic I was using a Sony pulse headset for all of my content and streaming, this mic sounds so much better than that headset it’s not even funny! That Sony headset was $100, and this mic was half that price. The sound quality of this mic impressed the hell out of me; crisp and clear voiceovers are what this thing does! I was worried I might need a pop filter but so far, I have not heard the need for one. The rgb lights look great and the mute button is easy to hit when needed (although I use my Fifine stream controller for that) The only negative I have is the arm that comes with it, although its functionality is fine I wish there was a different methos for the padding besides a rubber sticker. That sticker ends up sliding out of place, maybe they could somehow make a recessed spot so the sticker doesn’t move.

More bang for your buck! 100% Worth it!
The mic gain, volume control, and RGB patterns all manually configured on the mic itself. No extra software needed. The mic gain doesn’t feel like a cheap input volume adjustment either. On max, it expands and picks up the background noise easily and on low, it quite literally captures the small radius within the end-addressing point of the mic. Overall, a beyond valuable piece of equipment for whatever you plan to use it for. Gaming, podcasting, meetings, ASMR, etc. truly an ultimate bundle of convenience, budget, and quality.

Great mic for the price
This mic and stand combo has been great. I’ve been using it for a couple months. Out of the box it felt and appeared higher quality. Set up was easy. Looks fantastic and the RGB lights are adjustable to fit whatever set up you’ve got. I’m not an audiophile. But I think the audio quality has been great. If you’re looking for production quality level audio, this is probably not the mic. But it’s perfect for most general needs. I do think the cheaper price shows with the quality of the stand. It’s a little flimsy and doesn’t move very smoothly. But it works fine. I would consider this perfect if the mic stand was a little higher quality. Regardless…. would recommend!

First mic? Go with this
Great mic for regular use. I’m not a youtuber or podcaster, so this is perfect for calls with friends and recording myself playing guitar. The sound quality is great with the USB (I don’t have XLR), very clear, so no complaints there. I’ve never needed the full length of the USB it comes with, as the stand/arm is pretty versatile, so long as there’s something to attach it to. It was very easy to get set up and connected to my PC. And it just looks nice

My husband got this for his computer to use for work Zoom calls. He loves it. It’s got great pickup and I know he had to tweak the hardware and software pickup to get the best results. He uses Bluetooth ear buds for output and this mic is only used for input.

Good for amateur radio use.
I am using this microphone with my Yaesu FT 991A radio. I’m receiving excellent audio reports. Some have said crisp and clear, full sounding, better than the stock microphone on fm. On am and ssb, I’ve received similar audio reports. I am using the parametric equalizer settings in the radio.

10/10 Mic, But Buy a Different Arm
The mic itself amazing. 10/10, do recommend.The arm, tho? I don’t trust it. It just does NOT feel like its up to holding the weight of the mic outstretched to any meaningful degree. I happened to have snagged a cheap $16 no-name mic arm for a microphone that never arrived, and it’s the one I use.

This mic is actually fantastic. Connectivity was effortless and the build quality, including the mic arm, is excellent. The sheer quality of the mic rivals plenty of products from Blue, which are far pricier. This is an amazing product for the price. Also, the RGB ring is pure vibes.
