Hands free reading, sturdy and light weight
Years ago, I had a flip case for an older kindle and loved it primarily because I could stand the kindle up and read hands free. When I bought a case for my new Kindle paperwhite I couldn’t find a single flip case. I ended up with a book cover style case with a flimsy pull out stand for reading hands free. Worse the front cover was always in the way or a bit twisted when I was reading by hand. In other words, I didn’t like it. I found this flip case a month ago and immediately started looking at how they were made. I stared at a lot of photos and read a lot of reviews. I LOVE MY NEW FLIP CASE. It easily folds into a sturdy hands-free reading stand. Once closed the kindle turns off until I open the flap and it awakens automatically. The case is well designed with strong stitching. It is light weight and, for me, easy to hold and read. I have small hands, but the case is not bulky or difficult to manipulate. Ports for charging are easy to access. The kindle fits snugly in the case and is well protected. The case is easy to clean with a damp cloth. The case is well stitched and sturdy, especially when reading hands free. The interior has three well stitched pieces that hold the stand in place and allow some adjustment. The interior has a soft nap like texture, but the exterior is smooth and easily cleaned with a damp cloth. The color is clear and brilliant (I purchased the Emerald Marble) and there are no smudges or odd printing. I have worn kindle covers out in the past and had to use duct tape at times. I read a lot. My last flip case lasted for fifteen years. Hopefully, this one will too.

BEST FLIP CASE EVER!
I’ve been using these Fintie Flip Cases since I got my first Kindle over 10 years ago. It makes a perfect stand for reading while you’re eating or need the Kindle to be upright. I’ve tried other cases, but came back to this design more than once. Please note that if you’re an avid reader, as I am, it will eventually wear out. It’s worth it though. I’ll never buy another brand or design! It is definitely the best!

My preferred style of angle adjustment. Durable, my last one lasted about three years of folding. A bit pricey but good quality.

I loved the design but it didn’t work for me!
One reason I bought this was for the sturdiness of the stand when reading books while the Kindle is stationary. I also like to hold the kindle in my hand but this stand didn’t work as well as expected. The magnets did not hold it together like other cases do. It slid around in my hand and didn’t fit my needs.Definitely buy this if you’re looking for something handsfree to stand up on a table or desk… if you’re planning on holding it in your hand as well you might want to think twice about purchasing.I returned this item, the return was easy peasy.For now I’m sticking with my original purchase of the Fintie case and yes I’m one of those that like to change my Kindle up so I usually buy 3 or 4 cases. Since this Kindle is so new there aren’t many out yet!
