In a word “Awesome”, great performance in Tiny package
A lot of power in an itty bitty but Nice package! I am using for a BI camera server and its much faster than the Dell 3060 its replacing roughly 3 times more performance and the CPU from what I read is 15 watts. That to me is incredible, I read real world max draw is about 30 watts for everything and it includes 65 watt power brick which is plenty of head room. Quality build and the rose colored style is nice, I don’t really keep mine out for visibility but this case is attractive, compact and rugged, easy to open to access memory NVME and 2.5″ expansion slot which I’m using for video storage. Value is absolutely outstanding, name brands want 2-3x more for this amount of processing power. I love that its so energy efficient, I want mine to hold on a UPS for long time if power goes out and it checks that box, very happy with performance. Mine did have to download the Win11 25H2 update before letting me sign in for first time so that took about 40min, but other then that once the upgrade completed its very fast and responsive for both camera server, wireless controller, and other apps, even ran Acronis backup while doing a whole bunch of apps to test and it didn’t sweat. Easy 5 stars, time will tell on components holding up but I didn’t feel much heat coming off of this which is great. Very efficient.

I’ve been using this a couple of months now. I love the form factor. I used zip ties to mount it to my monitor stand and it is out of the way. It has plenty of ports, ample memory and ample storage. I have about 800Gb of data on my google drive that I want to keep locally, so the 2Tb of storage was important.For day-to-day work-load, I have experienced no issues. I run three monitors and typically have 6-8 programs running and a dozen or so tabs in the web browser and have run into no annoyances with performance. Just to test gaming, I started up Skyrim and was able to run on high settings. I fired up Hogwarts Legacy and it had a hard time with that. On lowest settings, it was around 18FPM, but most notably, within a few minutes the box got really hot, even with the fan running. Maybe that’s ok, but I wouldn’t recommend this for long gaming sessions on newer games. Heat was not an issue with normal use even with heavier loads like photo editing.If you’re looking for a good productivity PC in a small form factor with good specs, this is a great option.

Bluetooth problem fixed by adding ram, 6 mo later SSD crashed… poor/no support
Purchased in July…Like it but having a Bluetooth connection integrity issue. The audio begins to fail (static sounding) when the CPU is working hard affecting the bluetooth. Sometimes, connection for the BT amp gets completely shut down and I have to reboot, find the audio device in the device list under Bluetooth settings, then reconnect. Solved issue by adding 64 gb ram.It is now December 17 and the AX8 PRO has crashed I lost .5 tb data. The SSD is toast. Support is unhelpful and mostly unresponsive. They assigned a tech that has sent me 2 emails in 2 weeks.Tech said to buy a new SDD… unfortunately for me the acer a7’s were out of stock for her and they would reimburse me to purchase my own replacement. So now waiting for the tech to respond. WAITING!!!Another ACER A7 SSD was not available online so I had to replace with equal-specs version from another mfg.Was told the replacement was “too expensive” and that was the last I have herd from them. Attempted Contact again and no response.So, to sum it up, Don’t expect any real support or warranty service from Geekom.UPDATEGreat news!!!A Geekom support manager reached out to me and has reimbursed me for the replacement drive. She also worked on identifying and providing some missing AMD drivers. The drivers corrected the issues I was having but created another problem.So now support has sent out a replacement machine. The new machine is working fine.Thanks, Geekom team. The AX8 PRO is a great machine

Don’t buy for AI, buy for good CPU and modern m.2 drive and ram for a reasonable price.
If you are considering this because you want it for it’s AI capabilities, or you are an artist looking to use it for image/video generation look elsewhere. Even after upgrading to 128GB gddr5 ram, the specialized AMD NPU/GPU hybrid LLM models and NPU LLM models struggle and lag in a basic chat using the AMD recommended software. The only models that worked good are the ones that run on the CPU which defeats the purpose of the specialized hardware. The iGPU is woefully lacking in power so any kind of image generation takes over a minute for anything larger than 512×512. You might be better off with something that has a strix halo chip, if you still want to struggle with a lack of AMD support, or something with a good NVIDIA GPU.Additionally, if you want to upgrade the ram or add/change the m.2 SSD, be prepared to need to unsolder and resolder the wifi/Bluetooth antenna wires from the rf shield. The wires are too short and even knowing this in advance and being super careful I still accidentally disconnected them from the wifi Bluetooth module.However, if you’re looking at this for a powerful CPU with a modern m.2 drive and ram at a somewhat reasonable price, then this is a good buy.Overall I’m still happy with it. I bought it because I wanted a CPU that could keep up with my software reverse engineering and development tasks as my old laptop was struggling. This will definitely hold up for a few years. I’m only disappointed in it’s AI capabilities because it was advertised as being very capable for AI and it is not.

Compre este mini pc para montar un servidor para unas aplicaciones online pero no tenia grandes esperanzas pensé que no seria muy potente pero cuando lo encendí y configure windows 11 me di cuenta de que hay que instalar los controladores de Red para que funcione bien. Una vez todo ajustado me di cuenta que es un mini pc que en relación calidad precio y una pasada va muy rápido y puede hacer mas de lo que me esperaba. soy diseñador 3d y probé instalar blender y ver si me da opción a modelar y la verdad es que si pero soy consciente de que solo puedo modelar objetos muy básicos. En definitiva por precio le doy un 10 por rendimiento le doy 10 en relación a precio. y materiales de construcción un 10
