Basic SD memory card
You might think that SD memory cards have gone the way of laserdiscs, but no, even today’s modern digital cameras still use SD cards for storage. In my case I have a Panasonic Lumix mirrorless which uses SD cards, so I tested this card out on that camera.I popped this 2 GB card into my Lumix and after formatting, it recognized the card and showed that for my current settings of 12 MB photos (4592×2584 pixels) and RAW format, I could take 90 photos; if I changed to JPG instead of RAW, that number jumped up to 555. I snapped a few pics and they were successfully captured and played back without problem. Sure, I wish the card had a little more storage but this card will be helpful to keep handy as a backup in case I fill my main card. Also note this is a Class 4 SD card so it can transfer data at 4 MB/second — that’s fine for casual photos but likely insufficient for, e.g,. burst photography or HD video. As long as you know what you’re getting, that’s fine.So if you have a use case for a smaller memory, Class 4 SD card, this card may just be just the ticket.

2 Gig Class 4 SD memory Card
A good SD memory card. I like having some smaller cards available when I’m only taking a few shots of a subject. As a class 4 (4 MB/s) card it may not work for videos but is more than satisfactory for the still photography I am doing. As a side benefit, I don’t have to sort through Gigs of files to find a particular photo.
