Great dashboard-mounting phone holder!
I’ve had this dashboard-mounted phone holder for over a year and a half as of writing this review, and I absolutely love it! It works really well and is really easy to set up and use. I’ve tried magnetic phone holders, but the weight of my phone will often make it fall off, especially if I make a sharp turn. This phone holder keeps it in place manually, and I’ve never once had my phone fall out of it! I also really like that it mounts to the dashboard, because the air vents in my car aren’t compatible with the phone holders that are meant to clip into them.I initially had two concerns when buying this product. My first concern was that my phone was simply too big for the holder. While it does seem to be designed with a smaller phone in mind, it handles the weight and size of my phone just fine (althought there are definitely phones bigger than mine, so your mileage may vary).My second concern was about the attachment to the dashboard. This item attaches with an adhesive pad rather than a suction cup, with could theoretically lose its stickiness over time. However, I’ve already gone through two hot summers with it, and it hasn’t been an issue so far!

My first phone car mount
I bought the Ottie mount in June 2023.It is easy to install and I prefer placing it on the windshield rather than the dashboard because I don’t like placing adhesives on the dashboard.It has a good suction initially but when it is too hot like during summer, it falls off the windshield.My mobile phone fits well on the mount with sturdy grip. Easy placing & removing of the phone. It is a good quality mount. I like the location placing at the center view so I don’t lower my eyes too much & can still focus on the road.After 2-years of using it and directly exposed to the heat of the sun, the suction becomes yellowish. Placing water on the suction helps to mount it again. It does leave adhesive marks on the windshield so eventually requires cleaning thoroughly of the glass.

This phone holder is awesome! It’s super easy to use — just one touch to mount or release my phone. It holds my phone securely even on bumpy roads and adjusts perfectly to the right angle. The quality feels sturdy and durable. Definitely one of the best car mounts I’ve ever used!

Fantastic product!
I am so very happy with this purchase! Why did I wait all these years for one of these holders? It works great and was really easy to install. It seems stable and very well made. My iphone 12 fits perfectly in it. The one thing I wanted to mention is that sometimes when I am taking my phone OUT of the mount I accidentally do *something* that makes it go into the “are you calling 911 mode?” — I haven’t figured out why but this is a user issue not an issue with the mount. But be aware of it.

It just works.
If you have used the cheap phone mounts, you know they only work so well for so long. I got the CD player mount (I don’t use my CD player) that they sell, and it just works. Installation was a breeze and putting your phone in, and taking it out is even more seemless. It is spring loaded so the second it feels your phone the side clamps activate and it just grabs your phone, its so satisfying you just want to keep taking your phone out and putting it back in. Its hard to get a phone mount right and they seem to have done it. I decided to try out this one rather than the one that was half the price, im very very glad I spent the couple extra bucks to get a product that works like it should. 10/10

Great holder, needs removable feet
Great phone holder. This is my second one.One improvement. Make the feet removable. The arms hold so well the feet aren’t really necessary.I have a phone case with a card holder and a finger holder on the back, so it’s too thick in the middle for the arms. I have to put the phone in a bit lower (above the card case and finger pull) and the feet are in the way.The first version had removable feet. For this new version I broke each foot off. Works great.

Fan depuis longtemps du simple support de smartphone qui se fixe sur la grille d’aération j’ai du malheureusement trouver une autre solution lorsque j’ai acheté mon iPhone XS: il tient toujours mais à cause du poids de l’appareil la grille d’aération bouge lors de tournants appuyés… ce qui devient vite agaçant sur une route de montagne… Donc après une recherche sur le net ce système-ci me convenait le mieux: fixation dans le slot CD de mon autoradio où de toute façon je n’ai plus inséré de CD depuis des années (vive les clés USB ;))Première réflexion en déballant le produit: “heu mais c’est un minuscule embout en plastique qui doit tenir tout le bazar, ça tiendra jamais ce truc!”. En plus il s’agit d’un système pivotant qui, d’expérience ont une fâcheuse tendance à lâcher lors des forts tournants ou sur route dégradée. Je l’ai essayé quand même et je suis étonné: solide comme un roc, mon iPhone XS ne bouge pas d’un poil (sauf une légère vibration sur route très dégradée, ce qui est assez normal).Le seul bémol que je peux lui trouver c’est qu’une fois le smartphone en place cela cache un peu l’affichage de l’autoradio mais bon si on est pas du genre à changer de poste toutes les 5 minutes cela ne pose pas vraiment de problème.

スマホを置く部分の作りはしっかりしていて使い始めてから今のところスマホが落ちたことは有りません。排出口に取り付ける部品はガタガタしていて上手く取り付けられず両面テープの物に関しては商品紹介用画像の通り「高さ」が無い為上手い事斜めになっている平面がダッシュボードに無い場合、使えません。車種に大分作用されると思います。私の場合は前から使っていたホルダー用の土台アーム部品と本品スマホホールド部品を組みあわせて使っており、問題なく使えています。スマホホールド部分は★５でエアコン排出口部品&両面テープ部品は★１でした。
