I purchased this tablet for my 83 yr old mother in law . She uses it only for YouTube videos and it works very well so far ! I downloaded the Amazon You Tube app and it’s working very good . Picture is clear, volume is strong and she’s happy with it !

Hey guys I got the “Like New” Kindle Fire 8 inch, all I can say is that it it is a great buy. Does everything I wanted to use it for and can see clearly with out straining my eyes. I enjoy reading and my kindle books downloaded quickly. I’m still figuring out how to get around a little bit at a time. If you are looking for a bargain and not a great expense, this tablet is calling your name! It is 8 inches, the screen is crystal clear, and if you need more space you can insert a bigger SD card. It charges super fast, the battery right now is at 74%, and been on it off and on all night. I watched a movie on Prime video read a little bit and even got set up on my You Tube account through Amazon.The Amazon box was packaged professionally, I had to remove the new wrappings from the charger, and the C cord. The tablet was in a clear plastic insert sleeve. There are no visible scratches or Scruggs on it. Absolute worth the savings from a brand new one plus being a Amazon member saved me shipping charges as well.The picture and sound is better than I expected with clarity and no picture drag.The tablet is black, very slender, and will fit in your purse or carry bag very easily. I want to use it on the go, therefore I will have to buy a WiFi tablet plug in. My grandson says he wants one too so looks like I will be investing on another one of these in the near future.

Non stop adware, boring games & proprietary apps.Making improvements is laborious
I previously had a fire tablet a few years ago and it aged out, so I was looking for something small I could travel with & use to read and maybe browse the web during airport laying overs or even use as an Ereader while lounging poolside or on a beach. BUT THIS THING IS HORRIBLE FOR EVEN THOSE SIMPLE TASK !!! Your own Ebooks are frustratingly difficult to next to impossible to upload on the device, and because of the proprietary nature of the device using your web browser or search engine of choice AGAIN IS A CHORE TO INSTALL. This device is nothing more than an advertising & revenue generator for Amazon. It’s comes filled with bloat ware and hits you with ads nonstop when it’s on, EVEN AFTER YOU PAY $15 TO “reduce” the number of ads you receive. Don’t buy this damn thing, it sucks …PERIOD !!!

This is a great price the product. I am buying this as a replacement for the one my daughter broke.One small thing, which keeps this from being 5 stars. The charging cord and cube provided…..the cube doesn’t work. Does not charge. So that went in the trash. See the photos. The black cube is the Amazon cube, the white one is an Apple cube.
