Good starter for VR, get an external head strap battery.
There was soo much anticipation and doubt with this thing before I ordered it. Now that I have used it for a while I’m rather surprised. First off, the shipping was fine, the packaging was fine, no damage and I had no issues with the price. First VR experience as a Tech freak and I’m blown away by what it’s capable of. I know since my experience is limited to this quest 3s, I’ll need a few more to compare it to. I used my roommates quest 2 and I know what I have is better in that regard. It’s great that I can run some emulators sideloaded. RetroArch runs but don’t expect gamepads to plug and play without some configuration. Ok so it runs VRchat ok. Know that there is no warning for loading certain worlds that are not optimized so the quest 3s will stutter and crash from too much going on. Last night I had to do a 10 second power button hold to restart the headset. I love watching movies with this thing. Using JBL tunes660nr. It’s Bluetooth and sounds great. The built in speakers are not bad but know that what your listening to will be heard by others in the same room on low volume. I don’t blast out at full volume often. The glasses spacer is junk. My lenses are scuffed. Your not getting prescription lenses from Zenni optical if you have progressives. They don’t support it. I’ll need to find another option and figure out how to replace the factory lenses. Build is ok, controllers need a grip set. They were made to be dropped so meta makes more money. Can’t say the wrist strap rings work well. I bought a grip set to protect controllers. I use my quest every day for three plus hours and the battery life is incredible up to a whole week on a single AA per controller. I bought rechargeable batteries… Be aware that your batteries may die without warning. Indicator will show full battery life until dead. The head strap sucks. The quest pulls forward and is uncomfortable without an external head strap battery to balance the weight. By the way, your headset battery life is 2 hours. You need to plug it in or use the head strap battery for longer use. The visuals and resolution is good. I watch YouTube at full screen with good quality. 720p is great. 1080p is a bit of a gamble with buffering possible. Look what it costs to what you get…. I got a lot for what I paid. Overall?… I’m satisfied.

This product was delivered quickly for me and was easy to set up. This is 100% worth it if you’re not wanting to spend $500 for the 3, it’s good quality and very fun to play. This is a great gift to buy for Christmas since it’s coming up!

Pretty cool!! I don’t know too much about the vr headsets. This one though is really cool. You can get meta + and have a lot of games to play from!! Watch YouTube!! Message on WhatsApp. Hook it up to your pc and play games in a large theatre!! It’s comfortable, not hard on the eyes, can play hours without my eyes hurting!!! It’s great if you want to get exercise! Play ping pong, baseball, bowling, basketball or anything with boxing which will help your cardio big time!! I haven’t found huge need for the larger memory, 1 month in and 128 gb is perfect I have about 20 games downloaded!!! The only thing I will complain about is the battery life. If you’re planning on playing games a lot or watching a lot of media get yourself a very long charging cable cause the battery runs out quick it feels, even with a battery saver mode on. Outside of that, I would highly recommend anyone who’s getting into the vr to try it out!!!

It’s a great Meta Quest no matter what others say
Amazing, just amazing. This product it a really good choice if you don’t want to spend the 500 dollar for the “best meta quest 3”. The meta Quest 3s is still amazing. I wear glasses and it’s still pretty comfortable and easy to put on. I would suggest buying some lens protector for the lens on the quest since I would want to scratch the lens with glasses. The quality of the UI and apps on the quest are great. The only blurry part would be the mixed reality part, it’s blurry like as if you wear glasses and don’t have them on. But who buys Meta Quest to use to see the real world anyways. The virtual world is pretty amazing.

Great and fun but there are things I’d change
This is a great VR set up, especially being a beginner works well functions great with the PC. There are things that I don’t like about it like starting with the main problem with it is the battery life is not anyway impressive on the headset itself but they do make extra head gear for them that have battery packs that you can connect to your headset to give it a longer life. The stock head strap is honestly terrible too. It’s a lot of weight on the front of your face again there’s a modification for that in the last thing that I don’t like the controllers take AA batteries I would rather them recharge and be able to plug-in but overall, I am not disappointed in my purchase, I just know there’s more money. I’ll have to spend to get it to be what I want to be.

Budget winner for VR and AR!
For the price, this is the best headset around.Coming from the original rift and the quest 2, this is a step up in visual fidelity and wireless game streaming from steam link.The AR capabilities are great, you see your true surroundings with decent cameras built in to the headset and then the graphics are added to your true environment in almost real-time.The head strap isn’t the most comfortable, but it works and there are many third party selections to change it.The battery life is better than my quest 2 as well.TL;DR – If you have only $300, this is a smart purchase, If you can afford the standard Quest 3 with the new lenses and better clarity, maybe choose what is your priority.

Quest 3s é um ótimo custo beneficio se você nunca teve experiência em realidade virtual pode ir de 3s sem medo vai ser um experiência absurda agora se voce já teve um psvr 1 ou até mesmo um quest 2 junte dinheiro e vai de 3 sem dó por ele ser 4k 512gb nao que o armazenamento do 3s seja um problema instalei mais de 10 jogos e ainda tenho 30gb livre e eu comprei o de 128 gb e nao me arrependo nem um pouco mais se for sua primeira experiência de vr e esperar nao for um problema vai de meta quest 3 que voce tmb nao vai se arrepender estou usando a 1 semana o meu e estou amando pretendo ficar com ele e comprar o 3 mais tarde

Pretty awesome. Last vr headset I owned was the first PSVR and I couldn’t stand the screen door effect and I would get motion sickness pretty easily. VR has definitely come a long way with higher resolution and customizable comfort settings so with games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 I can play for a long time without feeling sick with smooth movement.There is lots to do standalone with the 3s but you can also link it to a pc through SteamVR as well as other types of links to play PCVR games.I haven’t tried any productivity apps but for my purposes as a gamer I’m pretty impressed.

Arrived three days early, package was a little damaged but nothing was harmed inside.As for the Quest itself, it works very well for my use as it’s my first VR headset, my 12 year old brother loves it too. There are quite a few very fun games for it, both in standalone and in PCVR mode, as well as some incredible community made mods for existing games, like Half Life 2, Halo CE and Far Cry.I was a bit concerned about the sound quality but the speakers are actually quite decent, they have great spatial audio.I’d certainly recommend getting a third party strap with it however, since the base strap is rather uncomfortable for wearing it for more than 20-30 minutes. The battery life isn’t amazing, only up to a couple hours or so if you’re playing more demanding games but plugging in a power bank isn’t too hard. And you can always just play PCVR games if you’ve got a decent computer for longer battery life.The resolution is actually not very high and it’s rather obvious when looking at menus, especially since I’m used to looking at 1440p flat-screens. But it’s not much of an issue when in-game.Overall, a great buy IMO, at a reasonable price especially compared to other headsets.

Simplesmente uma experiência incrível.Realmente o Meta Quest é um pouco pesado mas nada que atrapalhe sua experiência, controles leves e bem sensíveis ao toque, você fica muito imerso a partir do momento que coloca.Podem comprar sem medo, chegou com nenhum amassado, muito bem embalado e faltando 4 dias para a previsão de entrega.Definitivamente uma experiência única!
