I love Netgear never had a problem with them I upgraded from the Orbi mesh system now with this one everything i finally up to date and everything is faster with this one and it was affordable easy setup i love the quality signal strength no problem and easy to connect everything plus all satellites have an option to wire which I love compared to the orbi was only the main one

Terrible router… NetGear has gone way down hill over the years
I’m very disappointed in NetGear. I am very skilled in networking and should have been able to install this router in 10 minutes. I fought with this one for over an hour with multiple resets before it installed and had basic router functionality. Every change required a reboot of the router (even basic changes that a good OS would have handled without a reboot like router name, ssid, etc). Each reboot took about 5 minutes which is crazy long for a simple router. Then i tried at least 6 times (each) to get the extenders to join the network and they never joined. I gave up and returned the product. For comparison, i returned this one and bought a Linksys which i configured identically to the NetGear… it only took about 10 minutes as expected and only had to reboot when i changed the subnet and flashed the firmware (both of which i would expect a reboot for). Plus, with the Linksys, the extenders joined automatically inside of about 3 minutes with no reset, no reboots, no hassle.

Amazing system
This is the second mesh system I’ve used and man was I impressed! East set up, parental controls, and optional security! Let’s not forget the incredible speeds! 10/10 recommend!

does the job. all good. easy to set up, all great. BUT, do remember where you put the password, if you write it down on a piece of scrap paper.

Excelent product!!! Dont think, just do.
This is amazing, now i have a better stronger signal in the front of my house in the garage area, i live in a multi unit house and i have a tv in the garage, i used to have sparatic signal, sometimes it wouldnt connect, i live in a back unit and my old one didnt reach at all, i had the asus wireless router and also a netgear nighthawk wifi ext, amd still never worked out now with replacing it with the nighthawk mesh its absoluty great!!!, love the easy setup with the nighthawk app as well!!! Im a tech savey person and netgear is still doing excelent products. I always stick to what i know is good and i never had any netgear failed on me unless its from normal wear and tear or its just too old and needs to be replaced or upgraded.

Wouldn’t do it
Worked great for 6 weeks. Then the 2 satellites lost connection. Did the entire check list of trouble shooting 6 times. Router works great but satellites are useless. Won’t connect. Wouldn’t buy again

My computer can finally automatically find my printer and no more different bands for devices!
Description: We have T-Mobile internet and phones. We really like it but we have ALWAYS had a problem connecting to our printers. Our computer guy recommended adding Netgear mesh system and VOILA!! the computers AUTOMATICALLY and QUICKLY found the printers! Hours connecting became seconds! The mesh figures out what band is needed per device so no more 2.4 band for this and 5.0 for that! Thrilled with our new mesh system!!
