Truth in Numbers
Big theoretical performance numbers are certainly eye-catchers, but they are misleading when your workflow requires real-world speed. That’s why we take the extra time to run OWC flash storage solutions through intensive performance testing, and we share our test setup and parameters. Truthfully listing Atlas Pro CFexpress cards for reliable peak performance up to 3,000MB/s write, 3,600MB/s read, and up to 800MB/s sustained write speed defines our commitment to the “OWC Difference,” which ensures these CFexpress Type B cards will deliver the performance you are counting on.

1. Up to 3,000MB/s write / up to 3,650MB/s read peak performance was observed based on testing OWC Atlas Pro CFexpress cards in an Ableconn PEX-CF106 Adapter Card in a Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 4.9GHz CPU and 32GB RAM, in Windows 10 Pro using Crystal Disk Mark (1GB file size). Sustained write speeds up to 800MB/s were observed. Performance will vary depending on host hardware, software, usage, and Atlas Pro CFexpress card used.

Works well
I have not had any issues with this card. It writes and reads very quickly! I have only filled the card once and that was due to my own ignorance. So it has pretty good storage capacity. I transfer all photos using my camera’s provided cable so I never have to remove it from my camera unless I were to fill it again and need an empty one. I had no problem with it working in my Nikon Z8, I am guessing it is compatible with all other Nikons that use a CFExpress. No glitches at all. Photos look great! I don’t do video recording so I can’t speak to the capability of the card in that respect. The card seems to be built very well, it’s very sturdy feeling. So far no complaints!

CF Express card
Tested in Canon R5 camera without any negative issues. It holds still and videos, and with 3K read/write speeds, it is adequate for a day of shooting pics. Transfer of images via Thundbolt 4 capable computers, docks and equipment are fast. I have not any issues with slow data transfers, camera speeds with large files are as expected, without any issues of corruption. Works well and would recommend.

Nice alternative to more expensive memory cards.
Works without a problem and reasonably priced. This is the first time I’ve used a

Fast
Works wonderfully. Transfer speeds are fast. Great product.
Rossgraphix –
Fast and reliable!
Fast and reliable memory card! I needed something for a week in Hawaii. I was able to shoot 4000 48mpx images without experiencing any lag time. It was risky relying on one card, but it worked out great! Uploading to the computer was quick without any issues.

Works well.
Needed a fast card for pro photography work. After thousands of shots, this held up nicely!
Don –
Works well but not as fast as other brands
It’s good for the price but there are other brands that has a better write speed for the same money.

Fast and Reliable
So far this has been a great investment that I use with my Canon R5. The files transfer with good speed onto my Mac Studio M2 Ultra using a Lexar reader. I haven’t run into any issue in camera either (no heating or write speed issues). My only wish is that I bought the larger one now that I am getting into video more. I think given the current market these are a great value for the price. I would recommend.
Carlos –
Seems to work fine and fast speeds. Had it for a few months so can’t comment on longevity.

It reaches 1.2GB/s transfer rate from the card to the computer via USB 4 port or 600MB/s via USB 3.2 gen 2×2 port by the tests, which is much faster than my camera max transfer rate of 440MB/s. It will save the time to upload the data from the card into the computer.
