Fast and very impressive
Hi my name is Thomas; Glad to write a review for this lens! It’s super important to my work and has become my real goto for getting the shots I am after. I use this a lot for taking sports photos mostly Cricket 🏏 and it’s really good to have. As you know larger DSLR cameras can be eye catching; let me just say this.. I am also a cricketer but I am the Teams Media/ Public Affairs Officer and this is by far the best lens I have used in the lineup; sure their are others I would like but.. I love this lens because It’s not weight wise much more then my iPhone 11Pm honestly and its tack sharp! Now ~ let me say this I have been around est the 35mm film days (30+) years ~ I have seen heavy clunky lens’s but this is amazing it’s small it’s powerful and weight is next to nothing!Let’s talk speed in terms of the focus and then light; clearly I use it for sports and player reaction and candid shots- it’s amazing at crisp images! But in terms of street and wildlife aww YO this lens is powerful!! It can grab your target about as fast as u can! And it’s not too bad when the light levels are low.. Some lenses really have a hard time and will search zooming in and out like crazy!! Not cool if your in the middle of the road taking a picture! Noir is it fun to be waiting on a wild bird to venture into your view to have a soft focus or worse lost shot.. Right!! Not an issue here!! I have even used it storm chasing capturing lightning! I also have used it to capture many planes both in the air and around base, and local airports.. This lens allows you to really just look and find and capturing your photos as u wish it!! No hassle my Pro DSLR lenses are good but bulky and catch attention this is – Amazing! I have used this lens in every aspect of my work; it’s great to have a goto maybe it will be yours too!Honestly it’s my goto; it’s robust and for the money hands down it’s paid for itself many many times over!! O and I have also used it for Astro photography just to see if it could handle it and it indeed does a good job; especially for the moon and it’s amazing as a video lens even in dim restaurants! Again it’s impressive it’s lite and the targeting spot on fast! Highly addictive highly recommended!!

Good Stuff
Love the lens! It’s definitely one I’d recommend to beginner photographers, but experienced shooters can benefit from it too. Great image quality and super versatile—definitely worth adding to your kit.

Good enough!
Definitely sharp enough for the price. Bright enough but definitely could be brighter. I only ran into issues when I was shooting skiers at the X games in Aspen, CO. It was difficult to freeze the frame without introducing so much noise. Still for the price definitely gets the job done in most situations.

Perfect
This is the lighter, lower cost equivalent of the “pro”version of a Panasonic Lumix lens. It’s body is plastic making it very light and the perfect walking around lens. TheNEW version of this lens is twice the price of this one (REFURB). There is no evidence that I can find that suggests this is refurbed, the packaging, instructions etc., look new. It is a fine lens given the expectations.

Not impressed with this. Even at the low price.
I was expecting to zoom in and see objects better at a small 100 yd distance. That was not the case with this lens. The kit lens is better. Obviously I will need to spend more money if I want to zoom in on objects that are 50 yds away

Lens is certainly decent enough optically and mechanically. I was looking for a used wide to short tele lens for my second camera and I had a short timelime. The seller delivered in time to try out before the event and the lens met the optical and mechanical requirements.
