I’ll probably buy another one just incase this breaks or look for a updated version if they make one
So awesome, brings back my childhood days of being able to have all my favorites in the palm of my hands. Can add more games or upgrade card to make it better. I keep mine in ski goggle pouch to keep it scratch free and have a screen protector for it.

Best
So good I played it every day for years until it died and then I replaced it with the same exact model it was so good I play currently

Doesn’t work.
Doesn’t do as advertised. Won’t charge and isn’t user friendly. Also the stated amount of games weren’t on there at all. Bad value also. I am returning the product.

Misleading/ Old ads
So I’m assuming because of nintendos crackdowns on emulators, this come with no Nintendo games at all. No N64, no gameboy, no gameboy advance, no DS. Nothing so don’t fall for it like I did. Does come with just about 4000 retro games from Dreamcast and sega and PlayStation and such. I guess I’ll have to add more. Works well though and holds a charge!

In the world of emulation, going from laptop to Steam Deck to homebrew consoles and R4 cards to this is quite a trip. I have my own rom collections that I put on a micro-SD card, from SNES to GBA, PSX, PSP, Dreamcast and N64. So far I’ve had little emulation issue outside of problems that come with using Retroarch but I haven’t tried out any other OS that has been recommended.Battery life is good, it feels close to a GBC but does lack the weight that comes with needing a battery pack. The screen looks amazing, and the screen protector fits perfectly as there is a tiny dent around the screen to allow for it without any part sticking out to catch. Sound is as great as you could expect from a single mono speaker. If you grew up on handhelds, you’ll recognize it for old games and be impressed on how well PSX music goes through. As of now I haven’t tried any of the networking features, I plan on using it exclusively as a handheld. My only gripe is that the box came without any sort of shrink wrap. Everything was fine on arrival with no issues or scratches but a less optimal shipping could have led to the box opening and everything getting rattled. For a very cheap option, you can have the ability to play generations of games. I’ve never messed with emulator hardware like this before but it makes me wonder if we’ll ever see a PS2 handheld emulator in the future in such a cheap form. It’s possible for the Deck.Rating Ease of Use at 4/5 because while I haven’t had any difficulties, I’m used to messing with emulators and setting up my own curated collections. Good learning tool if you don’t know to mess with Retroarch or emulation as a whole.

Awesome device!
Eaay to use and load games onto. Runs everything up to N64, PSP & Dreamcast flawlessly. My only recomendation is to install Ark Os as the stock Os that it comes with is kinda mid.

Great Retro Emulation! Just question quality control.
I researched a lot of these portable retro gaming devices and set my sights on the Anbernic RG353VS. I wanted a gaming system that was simple to add games without being bothered with the technical side of tinkering with two operating systems like on the more powerful version RG353V.The Good: Anbernic RG353VS was able to emulate my entire collection of PS1, Sega, Ninten#*, and MAME (retro arcade games). The 3.5 IPS screen is incredibly vivid and clear which provided a higher definition for retro games even though it’s at 640×480. The size and build quality is great. It’s small enough to go anywhere and could be mistaken for a phone by casual observers. Plus to ensure maximum game compatibility there are two analog controls as well as the D pad. The software is pretty easy to use. Make sure you add games to the appropriate folders on your SD card. I’m floored by the powerful emulation of this thing! The not so good (my experience): My RG353VS rapidly lost its ability to be charged at the battery’s capacity. It came charged at 60 percent and would not charge past 28 percent a few days later. The charging indicator would light indicating that it was charged but when I checked it it wasn’t fully charged. The device would not charge at all later.Resetting and holding down the power button in attempts to get the device to charge was ineffective. I discovered the battery issues with some of Anbernic’s systems only after trying to find solutions to get it to charge. This has to be a battery supplier issue. The device is great. The analog control sticks are decent. The are humorously like small mushrooms but necessary if you want to ensure all game compatibility. I only know of one game that I like that requires it and most of my games worked well just using the D Pad. So the analog sticks are not a bad thing. You just need to decide if you need them because just gaming with them will take a little time to get used to. You will need to make copies of the included SD cards. They function in just don’t trust the longevity of them.Short conclusion: The RG353VS is great for gaming at PS1 and below. It plays some N64, Saturn games with slow down. I was impressed with the build quality of the device and would buy this again if the battery charging issue was solved by the manufacturer. It’s a great device but be watchful for charging issues.

Solid Device
Perfect device for retro gaming on the go. Needs some setup but once that is done it’s bliss! I did end up getting a different device that fit my needs better (Retroid Pocket Flip 2) so I am going to be setting this up as a gift for a family member.
