Best Roku we’ve owned so far!
Bought this to use for streaming in lieu of an aging gaming system. The remote allows for verbal input so you don’t have to type. There are a ton of free channels, and you can even connect it to your mobile phone to use the phone as a remote. Comparable with many mobile phones. Quick and easy installation. Compact design. The remote even allows you to power on/off the television and control the volume. This is our third Roku and the best one by far!

Does exactly what it is supposed to do
Easy to set up. Most painstaking part is logging into all the apps, but even that took less than 30 minutes total for about 10 apps. Love it because you can use on a TV not in your home, and have it set up exactly like the TV in your home (be aware – some apps have restrictions on what you can play when not at home, e.g. NFL recordings on Xfinity, but that has nothing to do with Roku. Roku functions exactly as it is supposed to). Love the “What to Watch” feature that pulls up everything you’ve watched recently on all apps (this is such a great feature so you can go back to what you were watching without having to remember which app it was on!)! Also love that you can search for a movie/show and it will show you all of the apps it is available on, in case you subscribe to one but not another. Remote is easy to use and buttons are easy to push for someone who has dexterity issues or arthritis. The Casting and Apple Play features work exceptionally well – no issues. Also love that you can change the background graphics to your liking for different seasons (like Halloween) or themes (like Star Trek). And you can reorder the menu such that your favorite app is first and at the top. So easy to use and set up. Roku is a great brand – also have 3 Roku TVs in our home.

Yea, lm Not One to Blast the Sax too often (meaning Write Reviews)……Sept 30, My Dang BR TV went Tits up Due to When l had Bought My Vizio ’55 TV at WalMart 2017, 18?………..the Sales Rep mentioned that this particular Viz is a Yahoo OP Platform TV n Expires Sept 30 2025……LOL In the Meantime, I had Long Forgotten about This…….(Noo Biggie I Thought), til Sept 30 NOTHING but Empty Non Working TV, I Tried a Few Tricks/Procedures to Revive Ole ’55………Quitea a FLIPPEN DRAAAG (I Got Quite used to Listening to TV as Drift off to Sleep, Here Somewhere in this Part of My Online Cyber Travels Roku was the Target l Need for this FIX…………I went to Amazon.com (My goto). Found Roku 4K Streaming Stix $39.99 on Sale $24.99, got 2 Days later as Stated ended up Yesterday……..Mann the EASE of Install onto TV n My Home WIFi……NOTHING TO IT…………Much Better Pix Clairity, Speed, Smoothness, Waaaay better than Those Chrome Cast Waaay LESS QUAILITY n Proformance…………GOO WITHE ROKU……BTW I Learnt the Stix is Much Easier to Plug into the HDMI Port (tucked away on back on Set) Chrome Cast is Made withea HDMI Plug on is attached on the EndO a “4 Really Pliable Rubber Flat Cable, making Pretty FLIPPEN Difficult to Plug into Port Once on TV Before I ended up Using a Needle Nose Pliers, FlashLight, n a Mirror to Plugger in………..

Excellent compatibility
Works great! Easy set up & installation.All I had to do after unboxing was plug the Roku Stick into one of my Hisense Monitor HDMI ports, plug the USB cable from the stick to the USB port, then set up the connections via my WiFi/internet 🛜 with Roku.Wait for the software and connections updates along with the remote control update and then add my own YouTube account to my wife’s account (if you have your own account and don’t share with anybody, you can skip this step) and everything works perfectly.I ordered this Roku stick because the Hisense model I have has extremely limited access to apps.Now I have full access to any apps available.This saved me and wife a few hundred dollars until we decide to purchase a new TV monitor later on. The Roku remote now controls the Hisense Monitor as well (no need for 2 remotes).I give it a 5 ⭐ rating for its overall compatibility and easy step by step installation.

Works great, but not all that……
Seems like better quality than the renewed express unit I replaced. My old one was overheating so got this one to replace it after 4+ years of daily use. I would give it 5 stars but I don’t know if it will last for years like the old one. It has some cool new features, but I wish it wasn’t an RF-only remote (due to the stick being in back of your TV), since now I can’t use my universal IR remote to control it. AT ALL. Another reason for no 5th star…Picture and interface speed are great though! I also DESPISE the ridiculous ‘ROKU’ tag on the butt of all the remotes, just print it into the plastic, that tag cuts into people’s hands. I CUT IT OFF every time!! LOL

Easy Install, Easy Use… Perfection
I love Roku, I have several devices and one of their tvs and purchased this after my old stick died for our game room. Not only does it offer tons of selections for your viewing pleasure, it has games to play and nice screensavers.For someone like me who is not super big on installing pretty much anything electronic, this is perfect! Just plugs right into the HDMI port and then plug into a power source. Setup is easy, although I did have somes issues at first start up with the device connecting to my home wifi.Even with the wifi issue at inital installation, now that its resolved, it is working just as expected… perfection. Whether your looking to cut the cable cord, add to your viewing capacity, or want an easy device to travel with… this is a wonderful choice, I highly recommend
