Great for my teen
Purchased this for my teen daughter. She had previously had a samsung tab. But I was going for more value and purchased an amazon fire. Fire tablets do not work with google which she needed for school. So I looked and found this I added a data plan to my t-mobile account and this is perfect she can even do all her school work. As for apps this tablet is an android and she can download any of her art apps that would not with the fire tab. Love this one!

Works well with ATT cellular service.
The previous reviews that state this does not work on AT&T are incorrect. I received my tablet and was able to install the SIM and get cellular connection right away. Nice tablet for the money, and my grandparents were able to use it without too much assistance. The only negative I’d say is that it’s a little heavy. Works great.

Great tablet
Bought this to cast media to my smart TV without internet. Took the At&t sim card no problem. But they had to set it up as a phone instead of a tablet. Casts with no issues. Battery life lasts almost 2 days while casting! Tablet is fast and we have had no issues. Been using it for a month.

Not compatible with Verizon
This tablet works great. It is not compatible with Verizon but luckily I have T-mobile in my area and it works with that carrier.

Best Tablet Yet 🥰
I’ve had my tablet now for a little over a month and I absolutely LOVE IT 🥰! I’ve got so much downloaded on this babe it’s unreal😱. I haven’t tried to use it as a phone tho because the tablet is a little big to use as a phone for my preference so I really don’t see the use for those extra perks, but hey on the flipside……God forbid if anything does happen to my phone I can use my tablet for backup 🤷🏽♀️ so it’s a win win!

Great deal for a tablet with 4g LTE phone!!
Like this tablet a lot. It’s picky about the SIM and service you use. Works fine on Cellular One 4g.LTE SIM . Battery life is very good along with the display clarity

No Tech Support – No way to stop Emergency and Abduction alerts all hours
I find it hard to believe some of the reviews here, like someone saying that support helped them with a particular problem and everything is rosy now. Samsung Support told me it was an International version and I needed to take it back where I got it. That is the US and it was Amazon US and they still would not help or even try to help me. I had to finally try to find how to solve the issue from a Samsung hacker’s site and my question was how to turn off the irritating abduction and Emergency Alert feature and the answer from that group it that it cannot be turned off on the International Model, as there were several other people who were complaining about the same issue (and no “hacks” were available to force it to “off” was the really bad news). After about 3 “awakenings” at various times during the night or early morning, I was trying to sleep during the first month of ownership, I just couldn’t take it any longer and I had to send it back.Otherwise there was just something I didn’t like about this tablet. The touch was sluggish and I had to press the screen too hard to make things I wanted happen, while in contrast, simply trying to keep it balanced in my lap, the screen would go wild when I was only trying to hold it steady in my lap. Also there seemed to be less and less phone controls and customization potential than other Android devices. Maybe that’s just Android (10 on this tablet) trying to be all automated like Apple but that’s the reason I always buy Android phones and tablets is because I like a customized device. There’s also other things I didn’t like like the speakers shooting out the end which means if you rest the device on anything the speakers are covered up. I’ve owned other Asus tablets and while I have an expensive older model of a Samsung Galaxy phone, this is the last tablet that I plan to buy by Samsung.One other thing is if you are signing up for a AT&T “tablet plan” with this device, do note that if you don’t have a AT&T “phone plan” on your account along with any “tablet plan”, you will never be able to sign into your AT&T account online or via the AT&T “app” because they can only send “two factor authentication” to the phone number of the tablet, which does NOT accept text messages. I escalated this problem to 3rd level support and bottom line is – AT&T simply doesn’t care, they want you to add an expensive phone plan to go with the tablet plan if you want to get in and manage your account. Otherwise, you have to just hope the way the store set up the account did it right and your credit card never expires.

Opened it right away, I bought the gold color, it works great no complaint so far. I bought it for my 6 year old to be used for personal and school use. Keep in mind this is the international version,honestly doesn’t make a difference to me. Most importantly I was able to connect it with my data plan MetroPCS.
