This has been great to me! Little bit of tipping issues but that’s on me for what I use it for!
I’m actually surprised by this tripod! The quality is okay. Hard plastic but it functions as it should. I bought it for my webcam and my webcam is very light so it can tip over very easily unfortunately. But, it’s meant for a phone and I think if it have my iPhone Pro Max in it then it would be tipping as much! I’ve tried out the remote just because I thought it was a cool feature and it works. Didn’t lose and Bluetooth connection . The remote works exactly as it should. But I don’t use this tripod for my phone so the remote stays nestled in its little holder. Which is actually a great design to have it click into the handle. Who doesn’t lose remotes??? This kinda takes that outta the equation if you remember to put it back in its spot that is!It adjusts to different heights very easily! When collapsed it very portable. The legs click in place so it’s a great value for the money I would say. You can see from the pictures I’ve gotten plenty of use out of it and still continue to!I use it for my webcam as a wide angle shot for my podcast and I throw a weight bag in the bottom and it’s perfect! Would definitely recommend!

FIXED!! Great design but not sturdy enough in the head for me
UPDATE:It’s going to cost me some extra money but I figured out how to get a really steady phone mount basically I’m going to glue this one so that it doesn’t work at all and by doing that it eliminates all the flex that will leave the 1/4-20 female thread at the top and I will stick a nice, sturdy small magic arm there. And to the phone end I’ll add a magnetic Mount. Done! Perfect! This actually will cost more than the tripod stick but the rest of it is really sturdy so that’s great!So really, it’s a very cool design. Very clever. Unfortunately it’s cramps on some plastic at keys points. It would be okay if it was aluminum but it’s not. As a result, when you install your phone here, assuming it’s it has some weight. It’s really not going to want to sit horizontal without starting to shift tilt because you’re not going to probably have it mounted in the middle because of the buttons or because of your case. So there’s that. Because this is press fit, you can’t really fix that and then the clamp itself is actually very clever. How it all slides down of course. And it fits my AA or case perfectly with the width of the case being almost twice the width of the phone so there’s that. Unfortunately all the entire plastic bit above the extension shaft which is metal and quite solid, with the weight on top starts to get the wobbles really easily. So that’s on top of not sitting still for a horizontal and you can probably avoid that in use and it’s probably good enough especially at this price point. But I’m going to need something heavier duty. But I have to say I like the design cuz it all collapses down really neatly and the end. In case you’re wondering, there is no threaded part at the end, however that can be remedied by using a PVC pipe cap. If you can find one that’s just a little bit larger and then put tape to make it fit and then you can put a metal insert in there and I’ll let you figure that out.
