I work as a data network technician, and these routers are awesome.I bought two 3-unit kits to build a WiFi mesh network for a customer on a large, multi-million dollar mountain property with four buildings including the main house. I was expecting to have to run network cables and utilize long-range point-to-point transceiver antennas to get WiFi to the farther outbuildings, but the Deco routers were pushing strong enough signal and automatically connected to each other in a such a way that cable runs and extra antennas weren’t necessary.The routers were extremely easy to configure using the Deco app, and deploying them across the property was a breeze. The range on the units is impressive, easily covering 70+ feet and going through dense log-cabin walls. I was extremely impressed when one particular router which was too far away to communicate with the main unit had its traffic automatically routed through the next closest unit in a nearby building, daisy-chaining itself so that it could be connected and without any additional setup or configuration on my part. Speeds at all units were well within acceptable ranges, with all except one Deco getting over 100mbps download speeds. The mesh capabilities of the devices are very efficient and effective, with my mobile device automatically switching to the router with the best signal strength as I moved around the property.The Deco app made setup and management of the network very easy, with details like a network map, device heartbeat info, parental controls, and more. Adding all 6 routers to the network was easy and fast.This system ended up saving me time and materials, and saving my customer money because of how easy and effective it was at providing WiFi coverage around his property without the need for extra hardware or equipment.

Well, I’ve went back and forth for about a year now about setting up a mesh network in my home. Currently I run 3, so this would in a sense replace one. I like keeping certain aspects separate… security cameras, and system are on a dedicated network. Tvs, computers, laptops, tablets, and cell phones are on one, and then I start sounding like I have more money than I really do, so I’ll just stop there… I decided to buy a mesh network to replace my security system network because I was having tons of issues with my outside security cameras having horrible signal strength which made it pretty much useless. Before this, I bought a CPE Booster, and honestly I had and have zero idea what exactly I was doing, needed to do, or was doing wrong. Long story short, I worked alot of Overtime, and literally within 5 minutes of my check hitting my bank account, I had this ordered. It was SAME DAY DELIVERY…. WOW. Unfortunately I was working several hours away at a prison job that is going so bad, you would think it was being performed in a prison….. wait… it was. After the extensively long work week, and driving several hours home, after working 10 hours that day already, all I wanted to do when I got home, was get this bad boy setup and configured… so the next morning when I woke up (lol), I immediately got to work… the app is extremely seamless to use. Theres not very much that I’d change. Setup was very intuitive and straightforward. I bought the 3 pack because honestly, a 2 pack would have worked for my small house, but I needed to get the signal outside to my garage that is anything but right next to my closest wall. I bought the 3 pack hoping I could intact put one of the units on the closest wall to the garage to get adequate signal. Thats exactly what happened,, and its been working great.. i have although noticed that my front door camera seems to have randomly dropped off of the client list on the app. Upon checking the camera. I find that its not connected. This has only happened once that was without a reasonable explanation… hopefully it was an anomaly. This has been perfect. Literally perfect. My cameras stream comes up within a couple seconds, and I can talk clearly to the person on the other side. Honestly, we are looking to be upgrading our home within the next year, and I can’t wait to outfit it with another tplink mesh system… for the price point, you cannot go wrong. I want to add that I was in the corporate I.T. industry for 8 years… so quality in technology is a huge part of my decision processes when choosing what to buy. I’ve bought TP-link products in the past, but honestly I tend to give more of my hardware away than I use… this is the first product that I’ve actually dove deep into… I will be returning for my hardware networking needs in the future.

Fué sencillo de instalar, me tardé aproximadamente 1 hora en todo el setup, los equipos se conectaron rápidamente, incluso la impresora wifi con conexión wps fué sencilla de configurar y trabaja muy bien. Equipo excelente en el área de oficina apenas me llegaban 8-9 Mbps (con un repetidor) ahora tengo de 90-100 Mbps, mi computadora principal (una viejita Asus de 2012) a cada rato se caía el wifi y ahora está estable, también pude configurar mi streaming de música desde la oficina hasta la sala dónde se encuentra el Deco router y trabaja muy bien sin cortes.

El Deco TP link funciona perfecto para crear una red estable en casa. Gran cobertura

My home has 3 floors, and this works so well. Setting up was a breeze. And it looks aesthetically nice as well!
