    So far Soooo good
Use it daily. Very responsive and comfortable. Love that I can seamlessly switch using it between Xbox and PC. Definitely better than the stock Xbox controller. Would recommend! Will update if I run into any issues, but so far I’m loving it.

Paddles can be in the way depending on how you hold the controller
So far so good. I’ve had it a couple of days and I really enjoy it.Some pros and cons:ProsThe build feels really goodEasily connects. Controller wire is long as heckModules are easy to change. You can set this controller up like a PS5 or Xbox controller.Dolby was easy to set up and I have the Kira razr pros so I’m definitely taking avatars of that.I had a scuff instinct pro just before this one and the power board just randomly died one day, this controller so far stomps that thing into the dirt.Plenty of stick, stick guides, D-pad options to choose from. The cons:Paddles are okay if you play two finger split style.I changed my paddles to bumper for FPS a while ago so the trigger locks are nice but if you play one finger split and have big hands I think you’re going to accidentally hit the paddles a lot.I tried playing one finger split just for the review and that’s exactly what happened, I disabled the bottom two paddles and the issue was resolved. The app is easy to use but I couldn’t imagine in 2025 that being an issues anymore.Over all I like it, I game everyday and I think it’s a very good buy.

    Good controller, strong plastic smell
I really like this controller. It gives me the opportunity to play with a left lower stick like a PlayStation style. sticks work great no drift. The only two downfalls is that this controller‘s polling rate is only 125 Hz and it has a very strong Plastic chemical odor if you’re sensitive to strong sense do not get this controller.

Bulky, Uncomfortable grip buttons and Too Many Quirks: Why This Controller Misses the Mark
Great idea and an improvement over the previous model but still has glaring issues to prevent a recommendation. A lot of the YouTube reviews I’ve seen point out flaws like the hair triggers misfiring, but they don’t mention how obtrusive and uncomfortable the back grip buttons are. The grip buttons stick out, and the fact that they’re not removable was the deal breaker for me, I prefer having two grip buttons on the back, not four. I would have kept the controller if the grip buttons were flatter, more like the Steam Deck’s, but trust me, these are likely going to bother you unless you’re an FPS player. As a fighting game fan, I thought the D-pad was good but not perfect; the Elite 2 D-pad is better, and the Victrix inputs weren’t as clean as I would have liked, especially since the L trigger would constantly register accidental inputs. I also found myself accidentally tapping the grip buttons under my ring fingers constantly while playing, and for reference, I have normal-sized hands, so this shouldn’t even be an issue (plus I experienced cramping due using the Victrix with its awkward grip button placement which I don’t get on my elite 2 or 8bitdo pro 2 controller)Overall, I was disappointed by this controller’s quirks, and I’d advise avoiding it unless you’re specifically looking for an FPS controller. If you’re a fighting game fan, I’d recommend the Retro-Bit Saturn Pro controller instead. I feel that it’s the best wireless fightpad out there, with a superior D-pad and button layout compared to this one. Plus, with the money you save by buying the Retro-Bit, you could pick up a nice PlayStation-style controller for PC, letting you have one controller for regular games and another just for fighting games without having to bust out a screwdriver to swap modules.

    This thing is fire!
I’ll be honest – I haven’t put much thought into the Turtle Beach brand in the past, so I had no idea what to expect when this thing shipped. I’m pleased to report that I’m *very* impressed and it has certainly put TB on my radar. Most easily notable is that this thing is SOLID. Super weighty and feels great in the hand. It definitely feels like a premium product, and for the price, it should. Even the cable is weighty. I legit thought there must be something else on the top half of the case, but NOPE – just the hefty honkin’ cable.Speaking of the case – it’s pretty great. Nice crush resistance and holds its shape very well. Material inside is smooth and soft, and outside is a good quality tough protective surface. Maybe 300 denier? Dunno. Looks good and works good, though. I will point out that the case STINKS SO BAD when you first get it. I had to put it in another room. lol But that went away, thankfully.Ok, the controller. Super comfortable. Slightly larger than an 8bitdo one I have and fits my hand very well. The rubberized pieces feel great and make it feel solid. Plus, they add an extra layer of “niceness” that helps you justify the price. All buttons/sticks/triggers feel great. The sticks are slightly stiffer than I expected, but are quite good. I LOVE the modular stick/button/dpad options. Easy to find a setup that you’ll like. The back macro buttons are also well placed (at least for my hands.) My middle fingers easily hit them. I haven’t had any issues pressing both like some have reported.I LOVE the triggers – very light touch (which I prefer). The texture on them feels premium, and I love how wide they are. One of the issues I’ve had with some controllers is the narrow triggers that start hurting if you’re doing racing or something where you’re holding them down a lot. No issue with these – they’re perfect. I’m not sold on how you switch them between full throw and hair-trigger mode, but it works fine. The issue I have is that the location of those switches make it easy to bump them into hair-trigger mode unintentionally. Non-issue if you keep your fingers on the back buttons, but if you’re like me and tend to let them creep up, this can happen.Connectivity has been great. I’ve not had any issues in any mode. If I could change anything it would be that the controller worked with more systems. Seems like it’d be a rock star on Switch. So, yeah. If you can’t tell I really like it. Can’t speak to actual longevity yet, but if I have any issues I will certainly update. I mean, let’s be real – this is a super expensive controller. It needs to be darn near perfect for the price. And, so far (for me at least), it actually is. Definitely recommended.

Very good controller and a nice upgrade/refresh from the last model. Good quality features like thumbsticks. Just it 4 stars as it took about a week to get used to the size and scale of this controller compared to other ones I have tried before 👍

The controller feels premium and the Dpad is nice, I wanted to like it but it has too many issues to justify the high price. Main reason I bought it was for hair triggers but they were no good.Issue one, like everyone else is saying, the triggers are way too sensitive that barely resting fingers above them will activate them. I am constantly pressing them when it feels like I’m not even touching the triggers. I downloaded the software and increased the distance for actuation but this defeats the purpose of the hair trigger setting because you have to use this setting to offset the oversensitivity which removes the hair trigger function. I wish it required more force to activate and activated without travel so you can press the triggers rapidly. The triggers also feel mushy and cheap, the bumpers are nice though.Issue two – the software forced a firmware update while I had it minimized, I didn’t click anything or agree to anything and it was apparently installing. I left it for over an hour but it never finished and it wouldn’t go away so I had to close it mid-update. The controller wouldn’t connect afterwards and I had to replug it in multiple times before it would connect wirelessly again.Issue three – wired mode seems faulty, I followed the instructions on the website but no matter what I did the controller would not work at all while plugged in, but was working wirelessly with the dongle. The instructions on their own website are incorrect and don’t work, and many of the instructions for this model ask you to flip a switch/toggle that doesn’t even exist on this controller. The instructions are for another model and inaccurate. I need the controller to work while wired as well when the battery is low.If the triggers weren’t so flimsy and didn’t constantly activate in hair trigger mode I would buy this controller again. The software was also not good and caused issues but I could live without the software if the controller was great.

Amazing controller. Did purchase the model before Victrix Pro BFG, and lasted well over a year even with the amount of gaming hours completed. Only upgraded to this model for the HALL effect sticks, all other features are the same. Safe to assume I will get the same extensive hours from the newer model.
