Could be the only adapter a person needs.
This docking station is a versatile, convenient, well-made device that provides a wide range of desktop-style connectivity and functionality to a laptop. It’s useful for business travelers who use hotel cubicles, portable multimedia demonstrations, and so forth. This adapter has connections for 3 USB-A devices (1 high-bandwidth), 2 HDMI video ports, a wired ethernet jack, an SD card reader, and a TF reader. The adapter also has 2 USB-C jacks. One of these jacks is a pass-through connector to compensate for the USB-C slot taken up on the user’s laptop where the adapter is plugged in. The other USB-C slot on the adapter does not process data, it’s only for connecting to an external energy source when extra power is needed to drive other devices connected to the adapter. The adapter itself is slightly larger than a credit card but smaller than a smartphone, and it’s attached to a thick, braided semi-flexible cord. The cord can’t be bent all the way around so when in use the adapter takes up a slightly larger footprint than expected.Attached are pictures of the adapter’s HDMI jacks connecting a Windows laptop to 2 external monitors, to create an “ABC” display where the laptop screen and the two monitors become 3 separate desktops. The adapter’s USB-C power jack is connected to a USB-C brick plugged into a nearby outlet. If I had actually been traveling on business I could have plugged a keyboard and mouse into 2 of the adapter’s USB-A slots and I would have been ready to work. The ethernet jack on the adapter worked well when I tested it; when I connected a cable from the adapter directly to my router I got 528Mbps/606Mbps download/upload speeds, as opposed to 371/359 when connecting the same laptop to the same router over wireless. The 3 USB-A slots worked as expected and so did the SD card reader, the only adapter connection I didn’t test was the TF slot. The adapter gets slightly warm to the touch when in use but it’s nothing to worry about. Seems to be an outstanding piece of equipment that will be used frequently. I will have it with me when traveling, and when at home I’ve been using it to charge my laptop and phone off the same brick (and this adapter connection allows me to easily share data between the two devices as well). This docking station lives up to the billing. Works great with Linux with no drivers needed.If it works on your device. It lets you use 2 monitors on the single USB-C, which is great as it lets me connect dual monitors to my laptop along with the HDMI, for 4 outputs on a single device, which says the max monitors are 3.Additionally it’s a gigabit ethernet and SD reader, which show up as:0bda:8153 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8153 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter05e3:0749 Genesys Logic, Inc. SD Card Reader and WriterOne drawback is that, It doesn’t work with everything USBC though (My phone, for example and a very old USB-C laptop) However, checking it’s not a thunderbolt required thing like I thought, but it seems like USBC alt modes? I can’t say for certain, but I can say it’s not Thunderbolt requiring.It does get warm. I can’t measure the temperature all that accurately with my IR thermometer to get a numerical one, but it’s definitely warm, bordering on hot after hours of use, but it’s still able to be held comfortably in your hand.One thing that I thought would be an issue for me is the USB2 ports, but when I thought about it, they are fine, since I’m plugging in mice and likely a keyboard, which wouldn’t need more. (My laptop’s keyboard is decent, but certain things not being on it are annoying like home/end.) So that uses up the two ports for that, leaving a USB-A @ USB3+ speeds (or whatever generation 10G is), and the downstream USB-C slot, and usually one of my USB ports is used for a sd reader so that’s taken care of.Right now it’s $31, which I think is a decent price for it. You can get cheaper hubs, and I’ve even got a different docking station, with more but it’s 3x expander mirrored, so not super useful Whereas you can see from picture #2, this is not simply mirroring the screens, it’s independent.Overall, I think the only real issues are those in USBC compatibility, which I’m certainly not going to blame on the device, and it getting a little warm. With that in consideration, I’m going to give it 5 stars.

Very nice for the price, but occasional monitor blinks when maxing it out.
Pretty good, not perfect.Good port selection, connects quickly and easily, nice and small.The power pass-through works as expected and the card readers are blazing fast (at least 120MB/s) which is somewhat uncommon.I occasionally get a monitor flicker when trying to do 2x 4k60hz, but it’s quite infrequent and that’s a common issue with cheaper and mid range docks. I use a big expensive dock at home that doesn’t have that issue, but this one more than meets my needs for a small portable one, and for the price is still quite good.

I do a lot of different things on my PC which requires various different inputs for which I was using different adapters and dongles. It was becoming a bit of a joke so when I got this I saw it as a great way to de-clutter and have everything I need in one device.It’s proven to be exactly what I’d hoped for.The docking station seems very well made and put together. It feels sturdy and gives me confidence that it’s going to last a good while.Every port I have used works perfectly and I am yet to come across any problems at all with this device to be honest.Having all of these ports together in one device is honestly a god-send and having the built in charging capability is also very nice. I use this docking station for everything now and I am starting to wonder how I lived without it.Overall I am very impressed and for the price I think it represents brilliant value.

This docking station worked great with my Dell laptop and helped free the dongle hell that I was facing with the multiple devices I needed to attach to it.The 100W delivery worked really well after I plugged a suitable power rated adaptor to the PD 100W port, allowing me to use one single USB-C cable connected to my laptop to both charge and output to two monitors, whilst giving me a wired 1Gbps connection. Over the past few days I’ve used it whilst working from home, I’ve had zero issues.I also tested this with my personal laptop as device policy restrictions prevented me from connecting USB drives on my work laptop, and transferring between my devices using the 10Gps port was done in a matter of seconds.At it’s current Voucher price £35.98 it’s invaluable docking station to have to maximise the use of your USB-C port.

Diese XAOSUN 10-in-1-Station hat jetzt alles ersetzt – und zwar ohneKompromisse.Direkt ausprobiert und für gut befunden:-Dual 4K@60 Hz → läuft an beiden Laptops gleichzeitig (MacBook im erweiterten Desktop, Dell im Mirror- oder Extend-Modus) – butterweich, kein Flackern, kein Lag-100 W PD → mein MacBook lädt mit vollen 96 W, obwohl gleichzeitig zwei Monitore, SSD und Ethernet laufen-10 Gbps Ports → meine Samsung T9 SSD fliegt mit 950–1000 MB/s, Fotos von der SD-Karte der Kamera sind in Sekunden auf dem Rechner-Gigabit-LAN → endlich wieder stabile 940 Mbit/s statt WLAN-Schwankungen im HomeofficeBesonders praktisch: Die Station ist schön kompakt, liegt flach auf dem Tisch und wird kaum warm.
