Excellent starter kit for kids.
My son and daughter live this. It stoked their passion for engineering and design. Great kit with a ton of parts for the designed and impromptu projects. You need to help the kiddos sometimes the instructions are not intuitive, like when adding the on/off switch.

Everything but batteries!
This set was phenomenal! It had all the switches and pieces to build several models. Easy to use, well made pieces. The sets big enough I don’t need a second set. If you want to teach someone some electronic science, this is the set.

Fun kit
My 7 year old says, “It was fun. ” We built the air powered car and my 7 and 9 year old were able to tweak their design to improve the speed. The only issue is that it doesn’t come with separate wires so we can’t use the switches. I see that the other kits do.

Excellent Project for my kids
My 9 year old daughter loves this! It’s fun, the instructions are clear. Great way to get away from the screens.

Great purchase
I got these for work and our kiddos LOVED them! If we can take care of them, they’re gonna last for several activities.

lots of stuff, not easy to use or figure out
I bought this with the hopes of using it with our homeschooling group and letting the kids each pick something to build. It became obvious that adults would have to help every step of the way so I had ask the kids make the same thing (wiggle bot). I’ll keep it and maybe when they’re significantly older, they can do more.

Fantastic STEM kit!
I’ve experimented with what feels like dozens of STEM kits over the years, and this is the first one I’ve seen that really helps communicate that you don’t NEED fancy STEM kits to come up with STEM projects. It bridges that gap by providing what are basically popsicle sticks for all the wooden structures and showing you how to combine them to get what you need. There is a book with over a dozen projects in it for things to make as well. They provide a cutting tool as well which I wish I had known about years before for cutting the popsicle sticks. They did not provide a way of drilling holes in sticks, but I can think of several ways that could be accomplished. One can buy these motors, propellers, etc. separately, which means that, once someone gets their feet wet learning from these kits, they could make the same things again and again by buying only the parts they need rather than shelling out a ton of money for another kit.The only con I see to this kit is that the provided cutting tool looks like it could cut through far more than just wooden sticks, and I definitely would not trust my own children to use it responsibly without adult supervision. If you are giving this kit to a kid, either make sure the parents are VERY aware that there’s a dangerous tool within or remove the tool and give it to the parents separately. I’m so glad I thought to check inside the box before passing it over to my son.Anyway, I’m really looking forward to seeing what my 8yo makes of this kit, and I’m looking forward to doing it alongside him with regular popsicle sticks and extra pieces we have from other STEM kits. I’m also looking forward to how we might get creative and try to come up with new projects using the provided knowledge and tools.
