One of my best electronic purchases
I’ve had many laptops, desktops, raspberry pi’s, etc. over the decades. This one is a more niche, but awesome purchases I’ve made.Notables: Windows 11 Home is pre-installed (didn’t see in specs), the N97 processor in this machine outperforms the N100 processor and doesn’t use much more power (one review says the TDP ratings don’t reflect usages in reality)First, the specs on this machine are amazing – especially the low power draw. Sure, the motherboard lanes and cpus aren’t desktop / better laptop grades, but there’s plenty to work with. This machine addresses issues I’ve had with Raspberry Pi’s – it’s far more powerful, extremely functional out of the box, and with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, I can put it to use immediately without tinkering.Second, this thing is small! It’s not much bigger than a raspberry pi, and it has mounts that allows you to hook it on to the back of a VESA capable monitor. That really saves space.Lastly, this thing has all of the connectors and specs I would care about — 3 HDMIs (saw reviews powering three 4K monitors with barely a hiccup), 3 USB A connectors, 2 Ethernets (!), and Bluetooth + Wifi 5 (older, but doesn’t matter).The goal of this mini PC is to serve as a functional computer for browsing / documents / streaming. It does the job perfectly.One thing to mention, is that upon starting, you get a Windows Local Account. You can still sign on into Microsoft and create a MS account if you like. There were also concerns of possible malware from Chinese companies. I did scans with Windows Defender and didn’t have an issue, but you can clean re-install Windows if you feel strongly enough about it.Do recommend if you want a small computer for light usages. It’s not great for playing games with high video card requirements, but more than enough for productivity usages.

Great mini pc for everyday use and media streaming
Great mini pc to use as a media streamer as an alternative to apple tv or google tv. I bought this to mainly run plex media on my local server, but also to stream media from online services like Netflix, paramount or Spotify.It performs much better than I expected for these things, and the fact that you can mount it to the vesa holes on your TV means you can keep it out of sight but close to your tv. I used a mini Bluetooth keyboard with a mousepad as a remote which makes it easy to control remotely without having a full keyboard.As a desktop pc, it works fine for everyday use for browsing, work applications, and I ran some games off steam (Company of Heroes series) and was pleased with the performance. Of course it won’t run state of the art games but nobody would expect that at this price point.Watch the video to see the boot time and a sample of a plex video.It does have 3 hdmi outputs, so you can run with 3 monitors as a daily use pc without issue. I only used 2 at once, and that was fine, so I wouldn’t see 3 causing any problems.If you need a daily driver, no reason to spend a ton of money on a full pc. This is small enough that you could take it with you in your carry on luggage on vacation and leave it on your desktop when home.
