I’m thrilled with my purchase!The electric height adjustment is super smooth and quiet, allowing me to easily switch between sitting and standing several times a day without interrupting my workflow. I’m quite handy and have my own tool kit, so I managed it solo—but I’ll be honest, it’s not the easiest piece to put together, especially if you’re not used to assembling furniture. The instructions are straightforward, and it comes with all the tools you need, except for a Philips screwdriver. The metal bar that anchors the frame is quite heavy, so I’d definitely recommend having someone help with that part if you can. For these reasons alone, I’d deduct half a star—but truly, the quality makes up for it.Once assembled, the desk is incredibly sturdy and well-balanced. I have a three-monitor setup and a laptop, and a few accessories on top, and everything feels solid with no wobble. I’ve been using it for about a week, and so far, the desk is better than expected. It’s sturdy and will not break easily. It’s very easy to understand, both building it and using it. This is my first time using a standing desk, and I think it was a great decision (it will help with back problems). The motor is not loud, and rises/lowers quickly. I have not tried out the memorized positions yet, but apparently it can remember 4 set positions. (it rises, lowers and rises quickly enough that I haven’t felt the need to try this feature).Also, I saw a comment or two saying it took about an hour to put together, but I am not sure why it took them so long as it only took me about 20-30 minutes and was very easy to do. It also appears to be relatively simple to switch the L shape to both right or left without much trouble.I bought it when it was on sale, but to be honest it is worth the full price. Very satisfied.Items are usually close enough to their descriptions, but it is rare when one is actually better than it appears on Amazon.Given that it is so sturdy, it is also relatively heavy, so you may want to put it together where you plan on using it. (Might want to put some sliders under the legs, if you plan on moving it around much, especially if on carpet).
