Works perfectly, able to get 3 external monitors with it!
It’s a great docking station! I was able to get 3 external monitors (4 monitors total, including the machine – 2 in the docking station, 1 in a HDMI or USB-C with an HDMI to USB-C adaptor) on both a Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5 and a MS Surface Pro 11! I could only get 3 total monitors with an HP Omnibook Ultra Flip. Still, pretty good for a docking station at this price point, especially if you can get it on sale!

Solved Our Needs.
Good product, we trust Anker and have more of their products than I care to try and count. This docking station delivers as advertised, passes the power and allowed all our cables to find a functional home. No issues, great purchase/

Updated Review
I will leave my original review at the bottom. After I posted my original review Anker reached out and offered me a refund or a replacement. I opted to take the replacement and give them another chance to see if maybe the first one was just a bad unit. I’m an glad that I did. I have put the replacement in place exactly as I had the original and have been running it for a day now. It is driving two 1080p monitors and so far has not had a single issue. I have a 100w Anker USB C charger going into the hub and it is supplying power to my laptop. The hub does get warm to the touch, but that is expected and clearly noted as normal in the documentation. So I can give this a thumbs up and also have to give Anker a big thumbs up for standing by their products and having great customer support.Old Review:I guess I should have looked at the reviews a bit closer. I got this to drive 2 monitors. Something my machine is more than capable of doing with a RTX3070 in it. Hooking it all up the two monitors will come on and work but then randomly drop out. Sometimes it is just one sometimes it is both. They go black and stay blank. Sometimes they come back after a second. Sometimes they stay gone till I unplug the hub and plug it back in. The device is getting plenty of power as it is connected to an Anker 100w usb c power supply. In addition to the going blank, I have also noticed watching videos that now the video will get out of sync with the video on the monitors. This is very disappointing.

Good overall with one flaw…
EDIT: Anker customer service reached out after seeing my review and offered a replacement. Great customer service, so raising my review from 3 to 4 stars!Overall it works pretty good. Bought it because I’ve always had good luck with Anker. However I have 2 monitors hooked up to it via HDMI and after the return window closed, the second monitor started going black for a few second randomly. It comes back on, but it blanks out very randomly. No way to predict when it will do it. Sometimes it’s a lot, sometimes it doesn’t happen all day. Very strange. Overall it’s very handy though and use it daily at work.

Bad network port
Edit: gotta say that Anker support is top notch. They replaced the unit with no hassle and got me a new working unit.No issues with the new one, another win from AnkerOriginal review:Form is great, but the function is lacking. Not sure if I got a bad unit, but the network port drops connection constantly, and I’ve experienced some erratic behavior with USB devices (nearly RMA’d a perfectly functioning $1000+ webcam due to poor connection. Tested into another computer as a last effort and found the cam working perfectly). The unit runs my dual monitors perfectly, so all good there. That said, other hubs from Anker have been great. I needed this one for the network connection, but it seems to be defective or just poorly configured.

Works but having issues with powering a laptop
Bought this to setup a new laptop for my sister. The plan was to keep the laptop lid closed as she has a small space to setup the laptop in an amoire with an external monitor in another section. So happy that it had a VGA connector as she had a older monitor that was connected to her previous machine with VGA.All her peripherals worked great in including her mouse, keyboard, printer, external HD, and speakers.Unfortunately, when first booting up the laptop with the laptop power supply plugged into the PD USB C port on the dock, the computer will say that there isn’t enough wattage and to use a higher wattage power supply. Not sure why it is saying that as the product description says it will pass through 100W and the laptop power supply is 65Wa. To be fair, in the product description they do say, “elect a wall charger that is at least 20W more powerful than your device’s original charger.” Now being that is a brand new laptop, I just used the power supply that came with the laptop. Be forewarned. Most users are not looking to purchase another power supply if they already have the one that came with their laptop. This is a show stopper because if my sister needs to reboot the machine because of an update which did happened yesterday, she will just get a black screen. She has to undock the machine, hit ESC to get past the message, log into the machine, then close the lid and redock to get her display to come up on the external monitor. It will wake up from sleep just fine but if she turns off or reboots the laptop, she has to do the whole disconnect, open the lid, get into the machine and then redock. She is not very technical so don’t want to put her through this.I’m sure if we are able to leave the laptop open or was using a small desktop machine, the dock will work fine. We use OWC powered docks at work and they work fine so will probably swap out the Anker dock with a spare Lenovo dock I have that supplies up to 135W of power. So for our particular needs, the dock will not work for us but should work for most folks.

Home worker. Dual hdmi screen. Usb-c headset. Usb power. Plugged another usb hub into this. It just worked. No fuss, no nonsense with drivers. What was particularly impressive was when I detached it from my work windows 10 machine and plugged into my fedora laptop. It just worked. Very pleased. All my expensive cherry and Logitech peripherals and screen can all be used elsewhere. I moved 1 cable – spent £50 but saved hundreds. Great work Anker

Good product. Serves purpose to connect triple display. Please double check your laptop Graphics processing chip before ordering this. My old laptop supported on 2 full HD display and third one low resolution display. My new laptop GPU is power full enough to handle triple display.

I am using this USB-C hub for over a month and for the most part it works perfectly and I have not experienced any problems: no sudden disconnections, freezes, latencies or other disruptions. It takes a couple of moments to connect, but then it is stable as a rock. The two monitors that I connect via HDMI and VGA are working as expected. The design looks sleek and the hub looks exactly like on the photos. It is a pity, that the hub cannot power itself via the USB-C port it is connected to.Minor disadvantages: the hard drive that is always hooked to the hub sometimes connects as USB2 and sometimes as USB3; the hub adds a strange “billboard” device, but ejecting it does not do anything.

It was surprisingly light, whilst also feeling very premium
