Great product. Definitely worth the money
I’ve been using the ROG Strix Scope II 96 for a couple weeks now, and it’s quickly become my favorite keyboard. The 96% layout is perfect — you get the number pad, arrow keys, and function row without taking up too much desk space. It’s a great balance between compact and functional.The stock switches (I’m using the NX Snow) feel super smooth and sound great right out of the box. They’re pre-lubed and honestly feel better than some higher-end customs I’ve tried. The stabilizers are also really well done — no rattling on the spacebar or enter key.Wireless connection has been rock solid via the dongle, and battery life has been surprisingly good even with the RGB on. You can also switch to Bluetooth or wired mode easily, which is super handy if you’re using it across multiple devices.Build quality feels premium — solid chassis, smooth keycaps, and nice weight to it. The sound-dampening foam inside really cuts down on ping and gives it a nice thocky sound profile.Only downside? The Armoury Crate software is kind of clunky, but once you set your lighting and macros, you don’t really need to touch it again.Highly recommend if you want a high-end gaming keyboard that’s compact, wireless, and ready to go out of the box. It’s not cheap, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for.

Review of the ROG Strix Scope 96 – 6 Months In
What I Love:I’ve been using the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Full Size since October/November 2024, and after six months, I can confidently say this keyboard is top tier in terms of build quality. Every keystroke feels super satisfying—the clickiness is just right, and I can actually feel the difference in pressure when gaming, which is a huge plus.It’s also my daily driver for work. The ability to seamlessly switch between Bluetooth and wired mode with the small toggle switch in the back is super convenient. Battery life? No complaints—easily lasts a full 8-hour workday without breaking a sweat.What I Dislike:If you’ve used any ASUS gear before, you already know the struggle that is Armoury Crate. It’s honestly a bit of a nightmare. That said, I do appreciate that for this keyboard, ASUS offers just the AC module directly from their site—way better than having to deal with the full software suite.Overall Opinion:Despite the software headache, this keyboard delivers where it really matters. Solid build, amazing typing and gaming feel, great battery—would definitely recommend!

Deben saber que vengo de usar el RAZER blackwidow chroma de hace 5 años very clicky. Este nuevo teclado ASUS es una gran experiencia, tiene buen peso y puedes manipular los switches de conexion sin sostener el teclado, el sonido del tecleo es espectacular, muy exquisito. Tiene plastico y metal, de muy buena calidad. Las teclas tiene una textura muy exquisita, me gusta que es hotswapable y lo podre modificar despues si quiero. Pero por el momento estoy muy satisfecho, el wireless es muy rapido y tambien lo uso con mi iPhone con el cual tambien funciona muy bien. Esteticamente es muy compacto y me encanta, ahorra mucho espacio a pesar de ser de 96%. Lo unico con lo que estoy batallando un poco es la posicion de algunas teclas, pero me estoy adaptando rapido. Algo que tambien note es que me equivoco mucho menos al escribir. Muy recomendado. La bateria dura semanas, considerando que elegi el RGB solo prenda cuando estoy tecleando. Muy contento con mi teclado y eso que ni siquiera me he metido a utilizar las funciones de la aplicacion. Saludos.

Well built, compact, individual RGB per key, really handy scroll for volume and other shortcuts.Can change all config (device, RGB and shortcut options) without the app. Can even check battery status!Typing is fluid and soft, no click sound, fast actuation.Finally it’s nice to have mouse + keyboard wireless with a single USB dongle (requires app for sync).The only downside is that it is difficult for me to get used to this layout since I’m used to full size keyboards, always using that middle cluster with HOME, END, PG DOWN, PG UP.

Absolutely great build quality and responsiveness. While having keys that do feel a little squished compared to a 100% keyboard I have actually noticed an improvement in my typing speed and accuracy. If you’re looking for a mechanical keyboard that feels good, sounds good and has a satisfying scroll wheel I can strongly recommend.
