This remarkable contraption, a device of such tremendous value, has brought me a curious kind of joy—one perhaps reminiscent of the most cherished moments of my youth. While it may not possess the swiftness of my grand desktop, ever a stalwart in the realm of video editing, it dutifully attends to my myriad needs; a reliable companion amidst the chaos of years gone by.In those halcyon days at the senior centre, where we would gather, laughter mingling with the hum of machines, this device proved itself a worthy partner. We utilized it upon the grand screen—a sight to behold! Equipped with a wireless keyboard and mouse, we created a little oasis of connectivity. Ah, but memory, that fickle muse, plays tricks on us all. Hence, we did find it prudent to introduce a thumb scanner, a simple solution for those of us, like myself, who have long since misplaced the keys to our own recollections.Alas, there are moments of folly, as when dear Slick Willie—bless his clumsy enthusiasm—takes to the keyboard. It is not so much a failure of the machine but rather a testament to the indulgent whims of age that prompt such bewildering encounters. Minicomputer to serve as a Plex Server
I bought this minicomputer to replace my Plex server, which I have been running on my Synology NAS. When I first set it up, it took a long time to complete the Windows updates. I found it was getting stuck on one. After conducting some research, I found that others were experiencing the same issue with the update, so it wasn’t specific to the Beelink. I manually downloaded and installed the update, and since then, I have had no issues. It is running my Plex server just fine.I knew it had Windows Home instead of Pro, but I didn’t realize Home doesn’t support Remote Desktop access. I wanted to run it headless, so I used Google Chrome Remote Desktop, and that has worked fine. At first, the remote mouse cursor was just a dot, but I plugged in a Logitech dongle I wasn’t using, and now I have a real cursor.This is an inexpensive computer that does what I bought it for well—no complaints from me.

Awesome little PC for home assistant!
This little box rips! I’ve thought about buying another one for my office. Currently running home assistant for my house. Came with Windows 11 Pro which I trashed immediately, but nice to have the option I guess.
