Sensitive and unobtrusive desk mike
This mike is amazing. It lays on your desk, and not on your head so it doesn’t stick you in the mouth while you’re trying to record. It doesn’t stick out from the desktop out like the old-fashioned microphones so that you hit it when you reaching across your keyboard. It picks up everything you say just by leaning forward and speaking clearly. It makes windows H dictating a breeze. It even has a little blue light to let you know when it’s on.It’s also inexpensive, and plugs into your USB port.

Didn’t work for me
Edited: I was wrong about it not working. It was my set up. I love the small size and it detects most voices in a small area.i do wish it had an on/off button.Maybe I got a defective unit?In my small office it could not detect voices at a normal level, within 2 feet, so it wasnr helpfulIt has a light indicator for power, but no mute button.

Never worked. Would light up when plugged in and register as connected but my audio was never picked up. Always too quiet on recordings or calls. Range didn’t matter if I was far away or speaking directly into it, you still couldn’t hear me.

I purchased this and was really disappointed, the the sound level was really low – it was purchased as a replacement for the built in microphone on a laptop which was pretty rubbish for zoom meetings.However, under the ‘Microphone properties’ and ‘custom’ you will find a tick box marked ‘AGC’ (I have absolutely nothing else on this tab). This stands for Automatic Gain Control, when I enabled it it worked really well. I am surprised this wasn’t in the slip of paper that came with the microphone, but I am now really pleased with the sensitivity. It works in all directions, its clear and has a nice build quality to it.Converted by a tick box ! Now very happy with it and would recommend it.
