Excellent 4K webcam that still looks great on HD monitors
I teach online music lessons so it’s imperative that I have a working webcam, so I bought this as a backup for the Logi camera I mainly use. If this had been available when I bought the Logi I would have only purchased this one! The price is amazingly low, the quality is amazingly high, the quality of the microphone is better than the Logi but it’s also 5 years newer than my Logi webcam.I love the privacy flap — I did have to install it because it’s easier for them to ship with it not installed (or they began adding it after the packaging was already designed) but it was easy. Every web-cam should come with such a privacy device that easy and quick to engage.The quality is excellent, the software that you need to install works very well. Plug the camera in and you’re ready to go — the software isn’t actually needed for use with Zoom or other online video-conferencing software but it does give us a degree of control for local use if we wish, such as for recording videos in our offices.

Incredible Webcam — Better Than My Mac M4’s Built-In Camera!
This 4K webcam has completely elevated my video call experience — five stars without question! I use it primarily for Microsoft Teams meetings, and the difference in video quality compared to my Mac M4’s built-in camera is night and day. The image is crystal clear, colors are vibrant, and it handles lighting changes really well without getting grainy or washed out.Setup was plug-and-play, and it integrated perfectly with Teams right away. I’ve even had coworkers comment on how sharp and professional my video looks. If you’re doing regular video calls or remote work, this webcam is absolutely worth the investment. It’s hands down the best upgrade I’ve made to my home office!

Great… Until it Wasn’t
I bought this webcam in February 2025, and at first it was fantastic—crisp video, seamless virtual backgrounds, and perfect for my frequent Zoom meetings.By late June, though, it started blurring mid-meeting, forcing me to wave my hand in front of the lens to refocus. By July, parts of my face would blur or blend into the background, making it unusable.For less than 6 months of good use, the decline was too quick. While I liked the price and initial quality, I’ve since switched to my backup webcam, which is working fine for now.Cautionary tale: I don’t like wasting money, and if I had known this webcam wouldn’t last at least a year or two, I wouldn’t have purchased it. Buyers beware—you never know until you try, and there’s no guarantee it will hold up long term.

Went from a Sony a7ii to this for streaming, don’t regret it.The Sony is my daily camera so it can be a bit annoying to deal with setting it up every time I use it so I bought this after seeing videos online and seeing the quality.Microphone: it’s a webcam mic, don’t expect anything too crazy because it sounds okay but it isn’t the best. It’ll do it you just need something for now but again, it’s a webcam mic.Autofocus: so nice to have, whether you’re close or far it manages to keep you nice and sharp throughout. It also makes showing products to the camera really easy.Fov: it has a pretty wide fov so you can get pretty close without it being too cropped, if you are further away you can just crop the camera and “zoom” it in so you’re perfectly in frame.App: the app is great, I don’t know if it’s mentioned in the listing but the app is the core to this webcam. Without the app, it’s just another webcam. With the app you can control the autofocus whether you want it manual or auto which is a huge nice to have feature! You can control brightness, contrast, EV which is basically exposure, sharpness, saturation and temp control!The app with the camera is like bread with butter, they go hand in hand.Great webcam and definitely worth the purchase!
