Great Smart Lock that works well and reasonably priced
The eufy Security Smart Lock C30 was easy to install and very easy to use. The quality of the lock is excellent. It is easy to control the lock from the phone app. I installed two of these locks in my home two weeks ago and they are working flawlessly. The price for this lock is reasonable and the phone app is easy to use and works very well. I recommend this lock to anyone who is looking for a quality smart lock that isn’t overly expensive.

Great balance of budget and tech in a great product
Great budget lock! We have had a touchpad Quikset deadbolt for many years that finally gave out. I think 10+ years of my boys yanking on it was finally enough. It thought it was locked when it was unlocked and vice versa. It had a good run. Thank you for your service.I shopped around a bit and wanted something secure but simple, high tech but affordable…and this Eufy seemed to fit the bill. We used to have an automatic vacuum from Eufy and it worked like a champ. So I had some brand familiarity and comfort with Eufy.This was a super easy install. It doesn’t come with a full instruction manual so you have to scan a QR code to get to it. No biggy. It was all super intuitive and everything worked as stated. I did have to chisel out the recess where the deadbolt itself sits in the side of the door. But that was no biggy. Five minutes with a hammer and chisel after making a new outline with a pencil.Wifi integration was a snap through the app and so far everything is great. I’ve got it integrated with my google home and it seems to be running perfectly. Thanks Eufy for another great product!

Unlocking pure joy
I absolutely love this smart lock. Setup was smooth, the app is intuitive, and being able to lock and unlock my door from anywhere still feels a little futuristic every time I do it. The keypad lights up perfectly at night, and the build quality feels sturdy and secure. I also appreciate the sleek design — it looks modern without being bulky. Whether I am coming home with groceries or letting someone in remotely, this lock has made life so much easier. Safe, smart, and seriously satisfying.

Great – but mounting was not seamless and adding users isn’t super intuitive.
First off this lock, especially for the price is awesome. I love that the exterior buttons are physical press vs digital. The locking mechanics feel smooth, and being able to do it from an app with a simple drag is just awesome. It was fairly easy to install, with some caveats.Everything went on easy besides the interior plate. For the life of me I could not get the included screws to thread into the mounting plate. I ended up having to use my old lock screws + one that came with the kit to screw into my door to hold it. This isn’t how it’s supposed to be, but it works.Second, adding users is kind of weird. I wanted my wife to have access to the app so I invited her via email as it prompts you too. Well it isn’t as easy as just sending an email for access like I’m use to with Amazon products. We had to get the email, make an account with that email, send the invite again now that the account was active, and then go to the Apps inbox to accept the invite. Just seemed like more steps than usual.Very minor flaws though and not enough to knock it down any stars. It’s awesome being able to set up multiple codes for parents, in-laws, whoever. It’s great to be able to unlock my house from my car and just walk right in. If you have a “dumb” lock, you’ll enjoy this upgrade.

A right faff to fit and set up involving creating a large hole in your door. I have an enormous collection of tools, but nothing “standard sized” cut the holes the right size. Then another faff setting it to work with alexa.After 1 day one of the two locks I bought stopped responding. They were both close enough to the router – about 10m with 1 wall between. Other wifi kit farther in the same direction still worked. Batteries measured at 1.2V (brand new, 1 day old!). Not even the keypad would operate the lock. Tried a reset etc … nothing.Locks are about security and trust. Have since removed and am looking to return both locks – leaving big holes in 2 ruined expensive doors.

Great product, easy installation, but expect to replace the batteries a couple of times during the yearPros:- Physical buttons work great even with winter gloves (for me this is a huge advantage over touchscreen-type locks)- Can check and lock the door remotely- Easy to use and install- You get a notification if the door fails to lockCons:- Batteries need to be replaced every ~3 monthsUsage tips:- You can turn off the lock sound using the app- For security, you can type a longer password and include the real password in it, like: 123102045 (1020 being the real password)

Great product. Easy to install and operate.
