Great product
This was everything I was hoping it would be and so much more. First off, it runs so smoothly. Every Console I emulated was excellent. N64, PSP, PS, Dreamcast, GBA, SNES, SEGA, EVERYTHING run smoothly. The screen is bright and vivid. I have large hands and it fits very nicely and the back buttons are easy to use. Playing the OG Pokemon games was amazing and fun. It brought me right back to my childhood. It seems to be built very sturdy. The sound is amazing as well. It also comes with a neat little carrying case and a screen protector. It comes with EVERYTHING you need to get started … EVERYTHING *wink* and I was able to add ROMs easily. And with the $30 off coupon?!?! I couldn’t resist. I LOVE it. Also, if you’re not really up on ROMs or don’t feel like dealing with extra stuff to play the games you live, this comes ready to go out of the box and I’m sure it has what you’re looking for. Do yourself a favor and jump in to the past and play amazing classics.

Not for tactile sensitive users
I returned this item because the buttons were a rough texture and sometimes unresponsive during gameplay. Rough edges all around, and hurt my fingers. Plus the game count was not as advertised… It had all the ones I cared about but it wasn’t the 2000+ games…

Perfect Retro Console for Kids and Adults
I bought this for my son and he hasn’t stopped playing with it since it arrived. It has tons of classic games that he absolutely loves, and the screen quality is great for its size. The battery lasts quite a while, and it’s super portable to carry in his backpack. I was also impressed with how many emulators it includes — it’s like having multiple consoles in one. Simple, but it does exactly what it promises. Perfect as a gift.

Great overall design with dicey media
On most of the important criteria (controllers, display, processor/resource performance, etc.) the XGB-36 makes the grade as a basic handheld retro machine. I was able to play all my favorite games without noticeable lag or stutter. The form factor is just about right, and I really enjoy the addition of an RGB backlight on the thumb stick. Any retro gamer should be happy to have this in their collection. I know I am.Unfortunately, the poor quality of the microSD card gives me pause. It comes with a tremendously generic card which fails quite regularly, usually about a couple months after use. I’m hoping that won’t happen with this device, but history tends to indicate it eventually will. You should probably clone this SD card to a more stable brand of media ASAP. Also, the speaker had a slight hiss to it, but the issue isn’t all that prominent most of the time.This is the norm for cheap retro devices. I wish it weren’t so. Nevertheless, I’m enjoying this machine tremendously for the moment. I’d say it’s worth the risk.
