Lots of plastic
This mic is ok. It’s a mid grade mic as far as the audio quality goes and it is completely functional as a podcast mic or for chat/gaming. It’s designed to look like a high quality mic, but it’s made of plastics and feels cheap. The light is kinda fun, but you can’t control or set it.For the price, it looks nice on the desk and functions pretty well. If you are expecting a high end mic, the price should be the giveaway.

Great Little Microphone
I have two daughters who are homeschooled. They do participate in live classes almost daily, and they need a good microphone while they’re in class. I needed something for them that would deliver good sound quality and help cancel out any background noise.This microphone has been great for that purpose- it’s worked out really nicely. It was simple to set up- just plugged it in. Once I opened up their virtual classroom, I just chose the microphone from the list of available mics, and they were off. It has delivered excellent sound quality.My daughters, of course, are in love with how colorful this microphone is. They love the colorful lights and it keeps them interested in what they’re doing.I think this microphone is a great buy.

Good desktop mic for PCs
I ordered this desktop microphone to use with my desktop PC for video calls and conferences. It works well for this purpose. I plugged it in and it was recognized as a microphone right away. I set it up for Windows speech recognition and it worked just fine. The light slowly cycles through the rainbow. There is no driver, and thus no way of changing the light color or pattern, but it is slow and not overly bright, so it is not too distracting. The pop filter is a bit cantankerous due to be continually bent in the packaging- it takes a lot of fussing and fighting with it to get it to stay where it needs to be, but it will eventually stay where you put it if you’re determined. Being able to remove it would have been nice, but it doesn’t look like it comes off. Since I have such a small desk for my home office, I like that this microphone has a small footprint on my desk. It also looks professional, not too blingy like some gaming stuff. Overall, I am pleased with the look and performance of this microphone. Five stars.

Decent Starter Mic for Podcasting
f you’re dipping your toe in the podcasting waters, this mic wouldn’t be a bad choice.My computer readily recognized the microphone. When I recorded with it, the pop filter helped dampen plosive sounds. The microphone didn’t pick up unwanted ambient sound, either.It’s not perfect, but if you want to reduce your podcast startup costs, consider this nifty little starter mic.For those of you keeping score, here’s the breakdown:Design- BAudio Quality- B+Quality of Instructions- BEase of Use- AValue- AOverall Grade: B+

Pretty good mic for small desks
I have a small workstation that I am building up for online college classes so I am trying new things out. This is great when I do not want to use a headset or the onboard mic on my laptop. The color-changing RGB does not bother me because my mouse and keyboard already do the same. It picks up my voice clearly and seems to filter out my cats in the background.
