Solid Google smart speaker takes some trail and error with getting good music
This is a good solid Google smart speaker. I did not have the Spanish language issues but that is due to its not my first Google smart speaker its my 5th. I am blind so I do not know if the box or instructions where in English the device is heavy for its size set up took a few extra steps had to download a device manger app for the 1st part of the setup then back to the Google Home app to complete teh typcical setup. Podcast and reading sound is good and strong. However music sound is flat I have a Echo Show 8 that has a deep rich powerful sound right out of the box. After tweaking the equalizer which is pretty basic it sounded a bit better but a collection of presets or a auto adjustable option for the equalizer would be great.

BUYER BEWARE! Power supply dead 12 days after delivery.
The unbelievably cheap price might be due to a possibly known failing of the power bricks supplied with this production run of speakers. I’ve been using this speaker exactly 12 days and the power brick is suddenly dead. Confirmed with multimeter that brick supplies no power. Speaker works fine if I plug it into the brick from any of my other Nest speakers of the same model. Only the brick is dead. I don’t know if this seller can be trusted since they priced this model $30 cheaper than literally anyone else…which is a red flag on its own. Now this brick failure confirms it for me. These were likely from a batch with a high fail/return rate and this seller bought them up on the cheap to resell them.At any rate, I literally just tossed the product box a couple days ago on recycling day. So, I’ll buy a compatible replacement brick instead of returning the unit. Hopefully that ends up being the only thing wrong with this purchase long term.

Good Speaker but difficult to change the speakers pre set language.
Well, it is difficult to change the speakers pre set language. Mine came with Spanish as default even the manual was in Spanish. I can’t tell you how long I fought with it to get hot to change more exactly what made it change. But after several unplug replugging and switching the mic on and off combined with trying to find something in the settings it suddenly switched to English! This was frustrating for my blind friend for whom this was a gift. I was called over the next day to help. Just saying there should be an easier way to change the speakers language not just what language it is programmed to hear. Which it did fine understanding English and then replying in Spanish. A Spanish speaking friend tried to help but it didn’t give spoken instructions on how to change the setting either! How many resources does one need to do this simple and necessary operation!

Great sound and a breeze to set up. I had an Altec speaker. But unfortunately it is not supported any longer by Google so I bought this. I’m old and not tech savvy. Luckily with the Google home app setting this up virtually did it itself. I’m very pleased eith the purchase. Just don’t know what the key ring is about! Lol The seller was really great as well.
