Deceptive product. Not unlocked
They got me with the deceptive product description. This phone is not unlocked. It is locked to Verizon, and they won’t assist with unlocking it. Despite the production description saying that “it works with Google Fi, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other major carriers”, it only works on Verizon.Maybe if you are a Verizon customer, they will help you unlock it. Idk. I have my plan with AT&T.I did get all the way through the setup before I realized this. Other than it being carrier locked, it seems like a legit Pixel 8.

As described
Not bad, worked on Google Fi so unlocked, phone was in excellent condition, works well with the only caveat that it runs warm. Shipped fast, as described.. I am generally pleased with my Google pixel 8

Wouldn’t work with Visible
I bought 2 phones to use with Visible (they use Verizons towers and are actually a Verizon company) Sim cards say not compatible contact carrier to unlock. Contacted Verizon and they said phones are unlocked. Not sure if these can only be used on Verizon or what but they didn’t work with a company that uses Verizons towers. Sending phones back because they are useless. Also although bought excellent condition one of the phones came with chips all down both sides of it.

⭐️ Disappointed – Could Not Activate the Phone
I was hopeful out of the box, but ultimately the entire process was just an exercise in frustration! The Good:The phone came with a 20W charger and a durable braided USB-C cord, which was a nice touch. It also had a preinstalled screen protector. While connected to WiFi, the phone was smooth and easy to use.The Bad:The screen had noticeable burn-in with “Powerful in every way. Helpful every day.” and the volume slider visible in many circumstances. I suspect this is from the phone being used as an in-store display unit. Most importantly, the phone could NOT be activated. After inserting a Verizon SIM card, the phone wouldn’t work. Repeated calls to Verizon revealed they could not find the phone’s IMEI number in their system. Even worse, Google had no record of the IMEI either and advised me to return the phone, saying activation was hopeless. The preinstalled screen protector was also poorly sized, leaving parts of the screen exposed.Ultimately, the phone’s inability to activate made it useless to me. If it weren’t for this major issue, I might have been able to overlook the smaller problems. Unfortunately, I had to return it. I wouldn’t recommend buying this phone without confirming that it can be activated first.
