Tiny and Reliable
This little switch is the perfect plug and play solution for connecting several devices in the same location. It is quite small in person, so it’s unobtrusive. This is not a managed switch, so no configuration is necessary. Plug it in, connect the devices, and forget about it. It just works. I have had consistently good experience with this HP/Aruba gear. Recommended.

I chose this gigabit switch for 2 reasons, first is a metal enclosure which I prefer, and secondly it is powered by 12 volts DC, which I have a clean supply for several devices. I have 3 of these ganged together, and have been working perfectly for about 6 months.

Good Affordable Switch Option
Right out of the box, this is supposed to be easy. And it was easy, I just didn’t realize it. The app never showed that it connected and set up properly so for the last couple of months, I thought it wasn’t working or that I needed to get tech support involved. I did finally call, but found out because I got this through Amazon, I couldn’t talk to them, I had to go through Amazon. This triggered me starting over on the set up. The app was still giving me an error message that it wasn’t finding my switch, but I moved forward with the rest of the set up without it and POOF! It worked! So, it is an Instant On switch. Works pretty well except there are some limitations on the PEO. I have one item we use for video production that will not power up – I get an amber light flashing that says it doesn’t have enough power. So ready your equipment requirements first and then take a look at this option. Just know the app is basically worthless and not needed.

Description of this product states “Features 124W of Class 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power access points, IP phones and security cameras” This product does not support POE as advertised and the return / exchange window is closed.

great plug and play switch. If you have a need for more ports for connection of additional devicesin Home or Office networks, you can’t beat this switch. I needed more ports for my Home Office and this was the easy way to get just what I needed. All my devises work fine IE…Phillips Hue, Network Video Recorder, VoIP (voice over internet Phone}, TrueNas Network Server, Xbox, Internet extender, and Network Printer. I highly recommend this product. This switch took the load off my router leaving it better able to handle my wireless cameras and google home products. Thank You aruba [(HP) for making this simple
