    Excellent product
I have been using this device for over 8 months now. I can attest to the fact that it works great and it was very easy to setup. It is well made and great for the price. All 4 pieces I’m using have worked flawlessly. I use them to control my kids access to electronic devices at home: game console, TVs etc. I highly recommend this product. I had no issues with compatibility and the timer function has worked solidly. My kids now know it’s a waste of time to try and wake up too early to watch tv or play a game as the devices won’t turn on.

    Perfect Replacement for Wemo
We had an investment in Wemo smart plugs and switches. Cloud support for Wemo is being discontinued leaving most Wemo gear useless.A couple of discussion boards recommended Kasa so I thought I’d give them a try. I’m glad that I did!First off, the Kasa smart plugs are much smaller than the old Wemo units.Setup is extremely simple. Make note of your WiFi network name (SSID) and password as you’ll need them the first time. Install the Kasa app — iPhone and Android are supported — set up an account and password, and follow the prompts. That’s it!One thing that is not mentioned in the app during setup is that you may need to disable the feature that switches from WiFi to cellular internet automatically. This tripped me up but once I disabled it, setup worked every time. The app offers a lot of features such as integration with 3rd party services and applications. I haven’t delved into those as I really don’t need them.I did dig through setting up some automated actions such as turning off a lamp at midnight and turning the porch lights on at dusk and off at dawn. Getting them set up is a bit kudgy but once I figured it out it works flawlessly.

    Pretty good purchase!
Purchased a while back, like over a year ago. Still using today. Great quality. Each time the power has gone out, when the internet comes back on, they load their self and continue to work with Alexa. Once you get them paired, which can be difficult to some of us OG’s, they work great!

    Great Value – Easy Setup
I’m very pleased with these. It’s something I found a workaround for, but I would give this 5 stars if their Kasa iPad app supported dark mode. I got around this on iPad/iPhone by using Accessibility – Per App Settings – Turn on Smart Invert.I’ve used many different smart plugs and so far, these are the best I’ve found. I already had TP-Link wifi products, so I was suprised to find out Kasa was associated, I guess a product line.I’ve read a few Reddit blurbs about using their Tapo app instead, but the Kaza app worked just fine for me after I got it using dark mode.Setup was very easy…On iPad downloaded and installed Kaza appScotch tape / marker labeled each plug, otherwise you can’t keep them straight after setupPlugged it in, it immediately flashed the blue and orange lightOn iPad, clicked on Home, + sign upper right – Device – Smart PlugsIf it asks to use Location, I Allowed OnceHomeKit Smart Plugs EP25I used Bluetooth SetupClick Already Orange and Blue (if so)Selected my 2.4ghz network and logged inGive the plug a unique nameChoose an icon, update firmwareThat’s it…I added the 4 plugs in about 30 minutes start to finish.Scheduling is very easy, plug has to be plugged in, in the app click on the plug, then click on ScheduleClick the + and add a Turn On time and a Turn Off timeExcellent price also, great value. So far, I’m very pleased with these and I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Easy to set up, local control, measurements seem accurate
I’ve used a fair number of these plugs in the past so I already had the app set up. Adding new plugs takes just around 2 minutes (I timed it) to add it to the network, configure it in the app, update the firmware, check the settings. A box of 4 like this can be done in under 10 minutes. I do this as soon as the box arrives to verify the plugs do work (I’ve not had a problem yet) and so they can go on the shelf, ready for when I need them.A cloud account is needed to do the initial setup, but once configured they can be controlled locally (either via a command line or via Home Assistant) so there’s no run-time internet dependency. Home Assistant can also track the power usage to draw graphs or for automation.I’d tested some earlier purchases against a Kill-a-Watt power meter and they numbers it reported were comparable. I believe the numbers reported are sufficiently accurate, which is more than I can say for cheaper “random-name” plugs.I have some of these monitoring my fridge (the startup spike is a little concerning; could this reduce the lifetime of the plug? It’s survived a year so far!), electric kettle, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, drier and more. Home Assistant automation means I can get announcements “Washing machine has finished” when the power usage drops to zero. All in all I like these for home automation monitoring and control purposes. They seem accurate and reliable and small enough that you can fit two into a standard 2-outlet socket.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable, Compact, and Fully Integrated
These smart plugs are a solid upgrade for any home automation setup. Setup was fast—just a few taps in the Kasa app—and they synced cleanly with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Home. Voice control works without lag, and the scheduling features are intuitive and flexible. Each plug supports up to 15A, which means I can run heavier devices like space heaters or dehumidifiers without worrying about overload. The compact design doesn’t block adjacent outlets, and the flame-retardant build adds peace of mind.Energy monitoring is a bonus—being able to track usage in real time helps me optimize power draw across my gear. If you’re building out a smart home or just want hands-free control over lights, fans, or appliances, this 4-pack is a clean win.
