Amazing bargain
KOORUI seem to be masters at knowing what people really care about in a monitor, stripping the spec down to that, and delivering at an incredible price.It’s a VA panel, which is known for having a higher contrast ratio than the more common IP, but lower picture quality in general. This can be a problem and you must be careful buying VA’ panels as some have very poor color, unclear images, and terrible viewing angle.This unit is VA but will full sRGB gamut color, a viewing angle that (to my eyes) is on a par with any IP that’s in front of you on a desk, and respectable accuracy right out of the box. It sits right next to my BenQ and I can’t really spot a difference in the color in most images.The most accurate color temperature, kind of surprisingly, seemed to come by setting the color to “custom”, rather than the warm setting which is often the D65 target on consumer displays.A grayscale sweep showed about a max 4.5 dE error in the gray scales. That’s not bad at all off the shelf, and typical for monitors not sold on reference color accuracy. Unfortunately it can’t seem to be improved much by simply adjusting the RGB sliders which don’t seem to give a very linear response. You need a calibration if you want to perfect it. Using DisplayCal I generated a gamma ramp which fixed the tone curve and grayscale errors. However, the color saturation appears a tad high, (which most people will LOVE).Bottom line is that you’re getting an image typical of any decent consumer IP panel, maybe better that many of them in gamut coverage, which wouldn’t be saying much – except it’s VA. After calibration, (which tends to reduce contrast ratio), I have up towards 4000:1 contrast ratio. (IP panels are native ~1000:1 and usually calibrated lower).To be clear, most people using a monitor will enjoy a high contrast ratio more than any other attribute of the picture quality. (This has actually been demonstrated).It has a joystick for adjusting the settings which I find easier and more intuitive to use than the external puck on a BenQ. As a bonus it’s not flopping around on my desk.It seems cheap in that it’s light weight. Unless that means it’s going to break, then it’s only a bonus at this point since it makes it easier to setup and move around.I have no comment on any of the gaming or HDR features as I haven’t explored those yet. But it’s too late for anything to convince me I will ever see a better monitor for the price.EDIT: At review I had not noticed it had an sRGB mode. This brings the color gamut much closer to standard, (except red which is still a bit saturated).

Almost Perfect
When my $450 gaming monitor died after only two years of use, I decided to go for a cheaper replacement, especially since my budget was tight. I had used KOORUI’s “regular” 27″ monitors for work without issue. As such, I felt safe to purchase this curved model for my personal side. It did not disappoint me.For watching movies/shows on my TV, I’ve had no complaints about the image quality. Likewise when it comes to gaming (the rare times I get to do it), everything looks great. And it has worked great for video editing. So thus far, in terms of display, this monitor exceeds expectations.Where the monitor fails for me (and where I’d knock a half star off, if Amazon allowed that) is in the stand. It is a static monitor stand, and I hate those. I’d pay a few more bucks to have a stand that swivels as well as elevates. For now, I’m making do, but I think in future, I will replace the stand.Bottom line: Excellent value for the price paid.

This is the best monitor I have ever had! The image is so very clear and beautiful! I love this monitor so much that I quit using my TV. This monitor now sits in front of my recliner so I can relax and watch movies. The curve of this monitor adds a sense of depth to games and movies. And speaking of games this monitor looks truly amazing while playing and with the smooth refresh rate you won't miss a single frame of your first person shooters or racing games. And the sweet menu allows you to change any settings you can think of. I consider this a high performance gaming monitor that not only looks amazing but has all of the settings needed for the current gamer!I know it's only QHD but it sure looks just as good as any 4k monitor out there. I promise you will be happy with it! I'm planning on buying a second one just for my command line interface and using a VESA arm to attach it to my small table that I currently use my current one one.

Good monitor
Great monitor for the price. Graphics are great and the refresh times are fast. If you plan on getting the curved monitor make sure your set up is away from sunlight as the curved monitor will have a significant amount of glare if sunlight hits it while you are playing.

Pretty good for the price with lots of dialing in of calibration.
I just couldn’t believe how cheap these are getting which made me a little wary but I have been on 1080p since the early 2000s. Finally made the jump to 1440p to max out my 6700xt. At first, I was turned off by ghosting out of the box. After going into the settings and getting things dialed in, I have them to a point where they are pretty decent. My suggestions are as follows.Monitor Settings: 165hz Refresh on DP. Fast Response time setting (fastest made things worse), SRGB Color Profile. Dynamic contrast was weird and didn’t like what it was doing to the monitor when switching from black to white scenes/windows so kept that off. You have to turn on adaptive sync as well.Software Settings: Went back and forth between Radeon Color Correction and Windows Monitor Calibration and tweaked until it felt/looked good. The blacks still ghost slightly in dark mode screens but less noticeable with the monitor settings above. The monitors defaulted to 10bit color. Turn it back to 8bit. No reason to use 10 bit really and it affected the performance of the monitor in my observations.Hope this helps. After hours of tweaking, I am pleased.

I’ve had my monitor for just about a year now (would have been a year December 24th) but I’ve had consistent issues where the screen would freeze, black out and then reset itself. Now fast forward to roughly 2 weeks ago my monitors screen went completely green. I got it back somehow with unplugging and letting it rest but now it won’t load past the Koorui logo that pops up upon starting up the computer. I went and purchased a new HDMI cable thinking that may be the problem, but there hasn’t been a change. I’m ticked off because I’m a university student who has papers due at the end of this week and into the next and now I have to go and get a new monitor because this one decided to crap the bed. I don’t know if I had a one odd faulty monitor or this is something that is known from this company in particular (because it has really good ratings), so I’d say purchase with caution knowing this is a brand that is probably popular only on Amazon and not your local Best Buy or equivalent.

Great Monitor… only issue… the size are not the same…either are the cords… i Bought 2 and one is higher then the other.. not adjustable at all… cant get them to line up at all.. and the cords they come with were different.. makes u think

Beware this monitor!I bought one of these in early December 2024 and was very happy with it for the price. A few weeks later I decided to buy a second to have the matching pair. Well that second monitor had just awful motion blur (even dragging a window around on screen left a very visible trail). It hurts the eyes and gives me a headache. I tried everything to troubleshoot it switching the inputs, swapping the cables, tweaking every software and hardware setting I could find. Eventually I just had to accept that it was the panel itself and nothing would “fix it”. Also worth noting that despite being the same monitor as my first unit, this one came with different setting software. Then I also came to realize that the audio out jack on the new monitor was broken.I processed a return and bought another. Figuring that I just got a bad unit considering how good my first one was performing. Nope. The third unit has the same problem with motion blur and different settings software than either of the first two units!! It also has a max refresh rate of 143.995Hz instead of 144 for some reason? I have to return this one now as it’s not usable with the motion blur. Which annoyingly means that I won’t have a matching set of monitors unless I keep playing the KOORUI lottery trying to get a new one, but I don’t want to get my Amazon account flagged in the process.So my experience is that 1/3 of these I have purchased works as advertised. On 2/3 purchased, the advertised refresh rate and response time is a lie. I know it’s a budget monitor, but it still has to perform to the advertised specs. My advice is spend a little bit more money and get something better.
