Great lamp, but it’s probably best if you don’t leave it turned on for a long-ish time.. If you do, the lamp gets hot at the sides and at the place where the bulb is screwed in.. Not sure if that matters, but still..That, and it seems pretty sturdy and stable to me..

WHy not include a light bulb?
Nice lamp but I would have appreciated an included light bulb. The instructions note the size but I have no idea what that might look like. Hard to use the lamp without the bulb.

These lamps have a surprisingly excellent build quality. You will rarely find such a nicely done classic table lamp today. They almost have to be handled to give them justice. They are all metal except the base. The base itself is sturdy and heavy and finished with a texture and color to match the shades. The shades feel very premium and are finished in a beautiful textured matte paint. The neck is a very tasteful brushed stainless steel. The simple on-off switch is firm, clicky and satisfyingly tactile. The branding thankfully is very subdued and minimal. They really do look and feel great. If a classic, basic desk lamp is what you’re shopping for, these are the perfect choice.
