Finally a good solution!!
We desperately needed a solution for an issue we were having with some in-the-wall cable lines and were told we needed a device that could handle the gigabites to carry the signal throughout the house properly. We found a great one! Netgear 8-port 1G holds all we need and then some. Great connectivity now and cable is fast & stable. We even had it mounted (see photo) in a media box in the wall.

Unmanged are best if you don’t want to deal with being an at-home network admin, if for the home
Works great, except it seems to get a little overwhelmed with too much data from too many sources and power outages get it a bit confused. Otherwise great for not having to go in and do network admin where I try and limit my admin work at home. I have two similar and work fine together

Solid, Simple & Fast
I now have 2 of these and will probably buy more for simple installs on small networks. These. just. work. Right out of the box, and are very fast. Never had a single issue with them, they always connect and at specified speeds. The ones at home have been on 24/7 for about a year, and show no issues.

Good value of performance and price

Watch the packaging. Opened possibly used/returned
I received the switch quickly, all the factory seals were broken on the outside of the box and the bag inside holding the switch had been opened as you can see the seal was also broken. I am guessing it was a returned unit. I would buy a returned unit but not for full price. The power cord did not appear to be used. Right now I need it more and has extended warranty, so see how it goes. Installed and seems to be running correctly so far, a few days we will know for sure.
