Frustrating, unreliable, and not worth the hassle
I previously had a Google mesh wifi system 1st Gen. I bought the Netgear Nighthawk MR70/MS70 mesh system for my 2300 sq ft house (three levels, ~800 sq ft each). On paper it should have been a great upgrade, in reality it’s been nothing but headaches.Setup was a nightmare. One satellite refused to sync no matter how many times I reset it, pressed sync buttons, or even wired it directly to the router. The other satellite would randomly drop off during setup and had to be re-added. Even when I finally got them both online, one would go amber (weak connection) despite being directly below the router. The system constantly kicked devices off the Wi-Fi and forced reconnects.To make matters worse, the router’s own software is clunky. The web interface barely gives you control, and the app constantly nags you about subscribing to Netgear’s “Armor” security service. Disabling it was a whole separate battle.I’ve used mesh systems before (Google Wifi gen 1) and never had these kinds of issues. With the MR70/MS70, syncing satellites is unreliable, Ethernet backhaul doesn’t work consistently, and stability is awful. For a premium-priced product, it feels half-baked.Bottom line: If you value your sanity, skip this system. I’m returning mine and looking for something more stable.

Good mesh WiFi but issue with instructions
I purchased this to strengthen and extend WiFi for home and home office use. Good price and value. I received it quickly and it was well packaged. 3 star setup instructions on downloaded product app prevents it from being a 5 star review. Problem is the 3 units in package look the same but only one (the one with the yellow internet port) can be used as the base station connecting the router and modem. I wasted too much time thinking they were the same and trying (and failing) to use the other 2 before I saw that one had the yellow port. Better labeling and instructions would have been appreciated. Look at my photo before you start the setup. But after that was figured out, and long install and updates to firmware, it seems to be working well as hoped.

Big house or brick do not buy
If you love in a big house or brick do not get these unless you get several additional extenders. Not for sure if they have an option to get it all in one. To get additional looks like 100 a piece……… Switched to these for the extenders replaced my nighthawk that was a gaming one could penatrate the walls brick way better than these.
