Great scan ability and versatility scans well and most.

Good little scanner that will do what most need it to do.
Scanner Model: NT-1950.Nice Scanner. Comes with a Nice base that the scanner is secure in. Has a charging light on the base. (orange while charging, green when charged)At this point in technology I’m surprised the cable is a USBA to USB Type B. Very few things actually use type B anymore.Scanner took about 2 hours to charge, Came with an instruction booklet and a ID card size card to keep in your wallet for easy configuration. (Would be nice if the base had a spot to hold the card, but doesn’t)Setting up Bluetooth mode was simple. Set your receiving device to BT search mode and use the scanner to scan the BT barcode. Will then link the two devices. While in Bluetooth mode, the light on top is a solid blue letting you know it’s in Bluetooth mode. When you’re back to the base, just scan the “wireless transmit” barcode again and it’s connected to the base again.Wireless mode to the base and USB cable connected to the PC is the best/fastest way to scan. It will scan and input the data nearly instantly. While using Bluetooth mode, it scans and takes a little over a second to input all of the data of a simple barcode. Now if using Bluetooth and scanning a 2D barcode that has more data, say a drivers license, it can take upwards of 15+ seconds to input all the data. So with that said, just expect a delay while using Bluetooth.I’m tall. I’m 6’4” and have a glove size of 2xl. This scanner fits nicely into my hand. It’s got a soft rubberized plastic feel. It’s got a nice bump on the bottom to control hand placement and the trigger is a simple pull. It does have an audible signal when a scan has been read.Like almost all other scanners connected to a PC, when a scan of a barcode has occurred, the data is entered wherever the mouse cursor is.Speed: while in Wireless Mode, I got 42 scans of a barcode completed in 10.24 seconds. That same barcode I scanned 42 times in Wireless Mod, only got 7 times while using Bluetooth mode. So there is a clear difference in the 2 modes.Now to be fair, there is a Bluetooth transmit speed setting. I guess OOB it comes on the slow setting. When scanning the High speed Bluetooth setting I was able to get 30 scans out of the same barcode.Amazing part of this scanner is that it contains a “Store Mode”. It allows you to be away from the base or Bluetooth and scan a bunch of barcodes, then come back to the base or Bluetooth device and scan a barcode to dump the data you scanned. Now, these barcodes are on in the book, but I feel like these barcodes here should be on the Wallet sized card.If you use this in a warehouse or traveling from site to site, I would definitely recommend creating some wallet cards for your staff to store and dump the data and clear the data from memory.overall, this is a very nice scanner, that feels good in the hand and is not too heavy. I don’t know how many scans it will perform without charging, but the battery will last all day.

Works Great Once You Get It Working
I wanted this for very nerdy purposes. My partner and I have quite the library of books. I’ve signed up with Libib to set up a database of all of them so we know what we have. We’ve combined our individual libraries so we may have duplicates we should donate or sell and it can be hard to figure out what those duplicates are when you have a lot of books. It’ll also be nice to know, when we’re out shopping for books, what we already own and the database will make that easy to check. Lastly, it’ll be nice to be able to keep track of what we’ve leant out and who has what, which I might do through another service. And sure, I could log the books manually, but being able to scan bar codes is SUCH a time saver. Cue this scanner. Admittedly, I found this a bit of a challenge to setup with my macbook. The instructions were fairly clear, but when I got to the popup asking me to identify the keyboard I was stuck since there are no keys to press. If this happens, just tap quit and it’ll identify that it’s NOT a keyboard and you’re off to the races. I haven’t needed to make any modifications via the different setup bar codes after that, but you may need to depending on your use-case. The charging dock is really nice to have and I like that I can use it via wireless or bluetooth. I’m using it via bluetooth currently. It seems like it can connect to computers or phones pretty easily so it should work for most setups. And it really is satisfying to use. I really love that you can lower the beep volume or mute it entirely if you don’t want an audible cue that it’s scanned your code. If you have inventory or a collection to keep track of, this is a great scanner. I just wish the instructions were a bit more comprehensive.

Il mirino rosso proiettato al momento della lettura facilita enormemente l’allineamento, migliorando la precisione e riducendo i tempi di scansione.Il processo di pairing Bluetooth è altrettanto semplice, basta scansionare il codice specifico per attivare la modalità pairing, rendendo il dispositivo immediatamente visibile allo smartphone. Ho testato il lettore in modalità di emulazione tastiera, dove ogni scansione termina automaticamente con un ritorno a capo, semplificando ulteriormente il lavoro di inserimento dati.Nel complesso, questo lettore si è dimostrato un’ottima scelta, non solo per le sue prestazioni, ma anche per la sua facilità d’uso e versatilità.
