Great controller, even greater price.
I’ve had a few Power A products in the past and I will say they’ve lasted me a good few years. 10/10. This controller works like a charm. Better than I thought. I love the feel and material. It also arrived earlier than I anticipated.

Hopefully more reliable than Microsoft and PDP
I bought some of these to replace my Microsoft and PDP controllers which were complete junk.The Microsoft Xbox One controller lasted about three months before stick drift took over and made it unusable. My old Xbox 360 controllers could have survived a nuclear apocalypse. A complete waste of $70.The PDP still works but they have a serious flaw when it comes to the USB cord becoming disconnected at the controller side and eventually not working any longer. This happened with all three I own. The PDP also comes with a shorter cord. While they are much cheaper at $25, it’s still a waste.The PowerA doesn’t feel as premium as the Microsoft controller but it does have the same length cord and hopefully, doesn’t suffer from stick drift so early on or port disconnection issues like the PDP.Only time will tell and I will update my review accordingly.Made in China

Great product until the usb cord wouldnt keep the controller on (if the controller moves, the power shuts off). I’m disappointed because it was so good at first. I only used it lightly (an hour or 2 every other day, sometimes daily) for about 4 weeks before the cord gave out.*Edit: I built a second pc and tried the controller again and it worked without a problem. I will update if it doesnt work again, but so far it works as great as when I first got it a few months ago. Great product if it continues to work.

I’ve had this controller for almost a year now. Still works great for me. The only thing is the wire has split, but that’s super easy and cheap to replace.

Great Controller, weird behavior on Windows 10
TROUBLESHOOTING TIP FOR WINDOWS 10:I bought and returned 2 of these controllers because I though they were defective. When a 3rd one had the same problem, I got angry and started just mashing buttons. It turns out, Windows and any games on your computer will not recognize the controller (and the light never turns on) unless you press the giant X button at the top-middle of the controller.So if this seems like a brick when you plug it into your computer, press the X button (the one with the XBOX logo, not the one above the A button.Hope this helps someone else.

Good quality, basic controller that works well.
I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I can at least say for casual use this controller is great. I didn’t want to pay the price of a wireless controller and got tired of buying or recharging batteries. Managing the cord isn’t as bad as I thought it might be, and it’s long enough to reach my television from the bed. The controls are accurate and maybe not hyper-responsive but perfectly acceptable for my needs. Overall, it appears to be well built and should last a while. The price was right.

Great controller. Being wired is actually a plus
Really like this controller. Bought it a good while ago and I’m shocked that the sticks don’t even have a little bit of drift considering how much I use it. I play a lot of rocket league with this thing so the left stick has been through it as well as the d-pad.This is my go to for all my pc games and at the price you can’t really beat it. I know some people are probably all uppity cause it’s wired but let’s be honest here for a second. You’re not looking to buy this controller to sit on your couch and play your Xbox. Your getting this controller cause you need something to play your pc games which 9/10 is roughly 4-5 feet away from you. Do you really need a wireless controller?Wired controllers tend to have a lower latency than wireless ones according to a study my buddy told me one time. If you’re using this to play games on PC and actually care about winning, why would you ever use a wireless controller?Get this controller if you like winning, lower latency, and saving a couple bucks. If that’s not you, go give Microsoft the $60 or $70 they’re probably asking for now for a mediocre product.
